Not sure if you can say God or pray on remembrance day anymore. I'm not even kidding 😂 I have extended family who are Chaplains. Two who have married cousins of mine. They've been instructed that no prayer exemptions will be provided this year. Instead the Chaplains will need to have "spiritual reflections" with "employing language mindful of the gender based analysis principals." 🌈 🏳️‍🌈 🇺🇦🇵🇸🇮🇳🇨🇳😷☮️ PS. Happy Diwali 🎆🎇

They were our fathers, our grandfathers, the men and women who served and gave us the lives that so many sadly do not value or appreciate today. Those who stand every Remembrance Day and honour our Veterans share a special bond that preserves and keeps alive a promise to never forget for you are the conscience that will not allow a Canadian society or government to rewrite our history.

My father at 16 years old in 1914 was captured in Ypres Belgium, first mustard gas attack, came home to Toronto in 1988, emotionally wounded he fathered 9 children, his youngest twins, my sister and I the youngest. He died in 1985, love you Dad
