The abortion debate is a stupidity in the USA that Canada doesn't need to get involved with. For me the abortions rate is an indicator of how bad life is in a country. No comfortably wealthy woman whose life was happy, married to a good man in a stable marriage, ever aborted a healthy baby. If they did in any quantity, our species would never have survived. It seems to me it is just social conditioning laid on women, so that they believe that life is a competition between men and women, and that their misery and inability to afford children is a sign that they are "winning".

The LPC promised this as election campaign, twice. They came back stating electoral reform is not tenable because it would require cooperation of the Provinces... What very few people in Canada understand that overturning Roe vs. Wade only makes the US like Canada (per 3:30) where there is no federal law on abortion but there are different rules in different jurisdictions on when abortion can take place.

What happens in the states does not happen up here. Abortion is a non issue. Conservatives believe in choice. If your pregnant then you have the right to choose if you want an abortion or not. The liberals are not about choice. They don't want you to have any choice. The EV mandate is a prime example.

Some of us knew from the very beginning that Trudeau was not the right man for the job as our leader. While some still don't see it. But thankfully many now see that he's not the right man for the job.. this is what happens when you allow leftists in charge this is what happens. If the federal government is afraid of the notwithstanding clause then go to Quebec and see how they are using the notwithstanding clause against Canadian citizen. The notwithstanding clause must be removed from the books.
