Yep torque converter is gone. We ran a Coan converter when we were running Jr. Fueler in goodguys. Great car hope you get it sorted out soon. 👍👍👍👍🖖

trans speciallty makes a good converter ive used theres for years your converter dont have anti balloon plates you need the plates if you are using a transbrake

With a Neal Chance bolt together converter, you can make your own stall speed adjustments. With that said, I think you need to be looking into a Lenco/Crowerglide combo.

Torque converter input shaft toasted. Most likely a machining issue.

Well we’ll , like I said the first time I posted to your channel, you need to reach out to mikes transmission in Palmdale California, and get a built Proof power glide, oh and all of that metal is in the transmission too rite , look like some sparkles in the oils. Oh when you get tired of playing with the transmission, give Mike Stewart a call , he will help you with technical support too , he will come and set up the transmission in the car too in some special cases , thanks BigAl California.
