Just found this channel. One of best videos I’ve ever seen will be getting a hold of you very nicely explaining how everything works can you do a video on a nitrous converter and how the cam or horsepower affects it. Thanks for the great video.

Thanks! As far as cam effecting it. Anything that changes the engine torque will change how it works. More torque/power is going to make it stall higher, less will do the opposite. The same thing goes for nitrous. Adding it adds power and torque so it'll have the same effect of making it stall higher. The more you add the higher it will go. Converter can be a good judge of if you're gaining power or not because of that. For example if you shift at 7500 and it drops to 6800 after the shift then add power it may only drop to 6900 after the shift. Or if you add boost or nitrous and it doesn't go any faster you can look and usually the rpm it dropped to will be the same as before which that and the fact it didn't go faster let you know its not actually making more power for whatever reason.

Lots of really good info in here! Iv run mine a while at 1100hp on a sbe and it shifts at 6800 and drops to 5800. But I like the statement you made on it being one of most important things to have right. I always say.. if you have a good turbo and a good converter it will run!

I like to run them extra loose especially when I'm really leaning on stuff. Those are definitely 2 of the most important parts!

Sweet bro, I can’t wait to install my 265mm Circle D in my truck. I will still tow occasionally so I needed something a little tight but I plan on running 10s or better. Turbo of course.
