Few things we wanted to mention: 1) We recently released the XT3 Plus model, which uses 12 magnets instead of the original XT3 which uses 8 magnets. This increases the top-end resistance up to 50%, making it have the highest resistance of any 3-wheeled sled. We also have a retrokit available for purchase for original XT3 users who want to update their sled to the higher resistance of the XT3 Plus model 2) The console does rotate 180 degrees, so you can view the console from either end of the sled 3) Our XT3 and XT3 Plus Sled has the ability to attach a harness from the back, 2-wheel side. Attaching from the back, 2-wheel side is a feature only our sled has, and also keeps the front wheel in contact with ground better than attaching from the front, regardless of attachment point height

What kind of maintenance is required. Like to know a little more on the mechanical end of things (chain & magnets) , if an issue arises.
@GetRxd
@GetRxd Жыл бұрын
@@seabreezeof maintenance includes tightening bolts if any become loose, keeping all 3 tires inflated at 35 PSI, and lubricating the chain if needed. The chain can be accessed by just standing the XT3 or XT3 Plus sled vertically (like when you're storing it), then use a tooth brush to apply chain oil to the chain. Make sure to rotate the tire so that the chain will be moving and you can apply chain oil to the entire chain As of mid August 2023, all XT3+ Plus Sleds have been updated to ship with solid rubber tires (instead of air-inflatable tires). So now, you no longer need to worry about inflating or maintaining tire pressure and best of all, the solid rubber tire will never pop. It takes many many miles to wear down the solid rubber tire which means it'll last over 10x as long as the previous air-inflatable tires! Hope it helps!

You missed one feature on the Xebex. It has anchor points at the rear for pulling that overcome the issue of the front tire being lifted during the backwards pulls. This seems to be a feature everyone overlooks. I’ve been using mine for several months and love it.

I have an M1 and absolutely love it. I looked for months and finally found a barely used on for $550 with a wall hanger. Great deal. I would compare this equipment to my Echo bike. Both very well designed, tremendous pieces of torture equipment! I do experience some sliding on the front M1 tire yet I haven’t tried loading weight plates on it yet.

My treadmill, like a lot of them, can adjust its speed and slope to maintain a designated heart rate, when used with a heart-rate monitor. I use this feature all the time. Since the Xebex can connect to a heart-rate monitor, they could design one that would automatically adjust the resistance to maintain a designated heart rate, similar to what the treadmills do. Might be a good selling point for a lot of people. Shouldn’t be too expensive, since they already have the most of the needed hardware in place.

As someone who has a home gym in a pretty small space and lives in an area with cold weather, I think a look at "sledmill" options would be more relevant than this comparison.

As someone who owns the M1 I can say that it is not great if you only have a small amount of space to use. My workout space allows for roughly 20 feet distance and I find that it is hard to get an adequate cardio burn by push and pull. This is partly due to the fact that you really only get decent resistance at sprints, but you also need much more space to achieve both a burn and high resistance. Because of all these things I ended up splurging for a rogue dog sled which has proven to be a far better tool with my small space. Hopefully this helps someone in the same situation.

Thanks I was wondering about that, I only have like 15 feet In my garage. One of these would be good for doing outside workout.
@brandonsaysthings
@brandonsaysthings 2 жыл бұрын
I live in a typical sub division and i go out my garage into my driveway and then the extra 15 feet to the otherside of the road (as there is little traffic in my sub division) I find that is a good workout to pull all the way down and then push back. however, I also have a long sidewalk as I live in a subdivision, so i just take it about 150-200 yards down that and return. and that is tough when you do 5-10 laps with minimal breaks in between.

I've always questioned if the smaller M1 or XT3 would have enough resistance. I was lucky enough to try out a M1 Tank for a week. It's no joke especially if your lifting lifestyle is built around function training. I decided to purchase the XT3 Plus, on sale for $770 with free shipping. Even though the M1 is lighter than the XT3 (70/100 lbs) my wife prefers the standup storage option compared to removing the unit from a wall hanger. The M1 front bar has a higher attachment point which helps keep the wheel on the ground when pulling. Simply fix.. we added a $7 Home Depot carabiner velcro strap to the top of the bar. One feature that is never talked about in any of the videos I watched is the wheel barrel option for simply moving the unit around. In our case from the garage to the street or to the backyard. The M1 can also be rolled but in our situation but we really like the wheel barrel option.

I was able to get an XT3 at launch for 15% off and pick up local, so it was a no brainer for me. One perk is the xdrive handles allow you to shove a Pathfinder Ion Bluetooth speaker in perfectly, we did a several mile relay through the neighborhood to the local coffee shop and a cantina and it was like a party on wheels (all the neighbors were confused/impressed). you can easily add an eyelet to the top of the hoop on the XT3 to get the same pulling point as the M1 (I did this with a carabiner and some zip ties but will likely find a more permanent solution)

I think wheelbarrow against resistance targets the glutes much more than a regular push because it basically takes the quads out of the movement. It would be interesting to compare the two by seeing what is more sore after an initial intense workout.

That Xebex has a lot of features I would love but honestly, the price on these are insane. I think the best feature is the ability to get some resistance without needing to lug plates outside. Pretty grab and go and allows you to train different styles pretty much on the fly with the scaling resistance. A luxury piece of kit and I think an air bike has more overall utility for 99% of home gym entusiasts (since snow/rain/etc won't interrupt your programming).

It seems that Europe lacks selection for gym equipment compared to the US. Is it just lack of quality equipment or just lack of companies outside of Elieko? I'm not trying to sound like a jerk. I'm genuinely curious about what you have access to. I am fortunate to have Rogue and Elite FTS within 2 hours of me in Ohio. So if I'm getting a big order from Rogue I'm hopping in my truck and picking up instead of paying shipping. Elite is willing to work with you a bit of shipping if they can.

@@bmstylee in Germany we also have ATX, that is one premium producer of gym equipment. We also have some access to Rouge and some other minor brands. But in no way our "Sortiment" could compare to the assortment of stuff Americans can buy. Importing training gear from the states to europe for a decent price would be a great service to us Europeans.

@@bastipear2864 got it. After looking at some of the ATX stuff I now want one of their gold power bars.

The side of the Tank M1 sled says "All Surface SLED". This is 1000% false. It will not work, I repeat, will not work at all on any surface except asphalt or concrete. The front tire does nothing but slide and lose resistance on non paved surfaces. Adding weight doesn't help because the only place to add weight it at the rear of the sled which doesn't stop the front tire from skidding.

You should get a winch and one of those scales that attach to see what the resistance actually is.

Too expensive for what it is. Fitness equipment pricing has gone crazy over the years.

Love my Tank M1 but to nitpick I wish it has a 2.5 resistance setting…. Somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd resistance. Hey GGR, do you still operate that commercial gym with the red carpet that you showed from the old XPO footage? Is membership strong? Old and young people? Mostly young people?

I have the xt3 and read somewhere that xebex will be offering a resistance upgrade in the future. Can anyone verify this?

*Edit Looks like they now offer the XT3 plus sled with great resistance and an upgrade for the regular XT3. Sweet!
