Anyone else lose tiny pieces from the Aux harness like I did? I spent probably 45 minutes finding the piece that fell back behind the battery.

I lost the Hex nut from the negative terminal on the Aux Battery...Still haven't found it yet!

Yeah same… now I gotta go buy a whole new terminal set. Great!!!

Thanks for the clear instructions! Changed both of mine as current batteries were 6.5 years old, start/stop stopped working last Spring and van finally decided to not start. All back to normal now (including dreaded start/stop) like you mentioned lol

I agree, my friend. The auto Start/Stop feature is very annoying. For what it's worth, my auto Start/Stop feature stopped working, all on it's own :- ) when the Auxiliary Battery died. I decided not to replace the Aux. Batt. and life's great now. Although, in a twisted way, I miss it sometimes now. Considered replacing the Aux. Battery just to get it working again. Nahhhh!! :- D My Pacifica main battery is also 5 years old now and I will replace it this weekend. I found your video, it was helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. The start top function is terrible. I think the aux battary goes bad, and then it drains the main battery. Im about to replace mine myself with something other than MOPAR. I have read that you can just disconnect the negative on the aux battery and it will disable start stop and you just have the message and the light on the dash.

Thanks for the tips. Let me know how you disable the auto start-stop permanently. I’ve seen some ideas already. I wonder if disabling it would affect the auxiliary battery life.

On replacing the auxiliary battery we did that and our start stop but doesn’t work got any ideas? We did it just like you did.

Regarding the Stop start feature, There is a plug on the positive connection you un-plug therefore disabling the stop start system.

I have heard about that, and looked into it, but it seemed like that would permanently enable the light on the dash, so that wasn’t an option for me.

I manually diasble it by just lightly holding my foot on the brake when i am stopped. If you find the sweet spot it will not activate. If it does just release the pedal slightly and the van will restart.@@TorqueWagon
