That was excellent Claire, I studied on this organ with Garth Benson many years ago, I share your love for this glorious instrument. I think your keyboard technique is first class, a lesson for all Organists!

I enjoyed two years of lesson organs with Philip Tordoff at Halifax (now) Minster. At the end of a lesson he asked if I had a choice....so he picked something...I now know it was really awesome! To you, Philip, I truly remember our time and the recitals we went to with your deputy David Barker, I was the driver! Those were the days, lad!

I. Should add that Halifax has a 4 manual Harrison (1928). It is one of the finest orchestral instruments in the Country (world?). Philip Tordoff was a King’s College Organ scholar and a real gentle man.I’ve recently heard that he has resigned his post due to arthritis. I remember you with real fondness. God bless.

Accomplished playing of the entertaining Dubois toccata, demonstrates the capabilities of the Harrison and Harrison organ at St. Mary's Redcliffe quite well. Claire Alsop obviously enjoyed playing the piece.
