Turtles work well on the bats. Also work well on the other incoming turtles. There is a achieve for kicking turtles into 5 spining turtles

When the bats are out do you guys have your melee change to them from the boss? and what do you guys do when the boss soft enrages? do you guys save turtles for that and lust and just nuke the boss? or what...

I'm a paladintank (504) and I solotank this fight. If your ptank is decent he could do it to. He must time his SotR so he reduce the dmg on "Snapping Bite". "Glyph of Battlehealer" so the bats come to him. He should only use cds when he tank bats + boss. When the boss dies he should be #1 on healing and dps. Doing holy prism(on tortos) the moment the bats spawned made sure they just went straight for me even if someone accidentally hit em with a aoe spell.

The Stalagtites can be completely avoided - the 50k damage is only if you're within 20yd from the inner circle

Small tip with kicking turtles: my 10m used a shell when new turtles spawned. That hits all 3 of them as well as the boss. Makes killing them way easy and gave us plenty of time to AE the bats before a stomp. We also used heroism on the first turtle pack as getting at least 1 down to interrupt the breath is the most crucial part of the fight. After that you should have enough shells around for all interrupts as well as hitting all the turtle spawns.

We managed to pull this off on normal with one tank actually, all we did was have a hunter misdirect the bats to the tank (Our tank is a paladin haste tank so op much? :P) and we decided to push for the extra dps since we pushed it with one tank. :)

Only paladin tanks can really 1 tank the fight, cause glyph of battle healer just pulls the adds right to him. im sure a DK or warrior could if they heroic leap to the adds and charge back to tortos RIGHT away, but might be to risky,

We found solo tanking and 3 healing this to be a lot easier, at least on normal. Just in case anyone's having trouble - Also managed to get our warrior rank 1 on WoL from it :D Just make sure u have a CD for the tank every time the bats are on him and nuke the living shit out of them before the aoe damage.

Also, the rockfall damage is avoidable - If you're more than 20 yards away from the impact area you don't take any damage from it - Obviously it can be difficult to do though, but staying away from large clumps of patches really helps if u can.

Just wanted to make a few comments: Your videos have helped me immensely. The only thing I need typically do after watching your vids is actually try the fight a few times before I get it down pat. With that said, keep up the great work! Secondly, you have a kick ass UI, which begs to ask: Is it a customized UI? Or is it available for download? I tried using Killars 5.4 UI, and while it's nice, I feel its a little too cluttered for my tastes. Keep up the great work guys!

Mistweaver, holy pala, resto shaman first week Mistweaver, 2x resto shaman second week Just rotated shield wall and my life cocoon and he didn't really lose hp:) Also worth noting that it's a lot easier to heal if the dps move further than 20 yards away from the rockfalls whenever they're low - Means they take 0 damage, though obviously you can't expect them to avoid all damage.

One piece of information isn't correct. The AoE damage from Rockfall can be avoided as it only has a 20 yard range from the point of impact. Don't get me wrong - it's hard to avoid when there are many rocks falling, but it is avoidable. Anyway, cheers guys and I hope to see a 10 man heroic council guide soon.

I think if you're using bartender, you can just enter the keybinding option, and then you just hover your mouse curser over the extra action button, and click whatever keybinding you'd like. Otherwise there might be a option to just keyybind it in the "keybindings" menu. I havn't checked this but just go in there and scroll through all the options and look for it.

Lies. You can avoid most AOE damage from those rockfall's. when he does his stomp have an initial huddle point in the middle of the room, and then break off going to each wall left and right of him, and leave the rocks in middle. if done right with a stampeding rawr or monk raid sprint, you take almost no damage from the rocks.

I don't understand like our raid group we have the dps all doing above 100k and heals doing 80khps and the tanks are about 700k and we wipe so much and people and not even standing in the circle or or standing in stuff its just so annoying that we haven't killed this boss yet.

What kind of gear were your tanks having when you downed this boss? My guild is having a hard time keeping out bat-tank alive. He just goes splatt.. We're 3 man healing. Hpriest, Hpaladin and Rdruid. Our bat-tank is a paladin. But as said. He keeps going "SPLAT!"

You say that the damage from rockfall is unavoidable, but that's not quite true. Rocks inflict damage to targets within 20 yrds of them when they fall, so it is quite possible to avoid it. :)

250K for the bite on a Tank is if they have their "small" cooldown up (Paladin shield), else it hits for a nasty 480K after armor. Somehow 53% armor reduction on 520K is 480K??

You can do it like that because the overall threat of the tank will just let the adds come straight to the tank, plus a misdirect to sort the adds out if they are abit bodged up. :)

We had our hunter misdirecting the bats to the tank by the way, make sure everyone else holds off on aoe when they spawn (had a few issues with starfall for example)
