Pump action rifles are legal as a Category B firearm, subject to 10rnd magazine capacity regs. Cat A/B is the most common licence type in Australia. Pump action shotguns are category C or D. They are classed the same as a Semi-automatic rifle or shotgun, which are much more strictly regulated. You need to be a professional hunter or primary producer (farmer) to even be eligible to apply, and even then it takes forever to get the application processed. @ZombifiedWatermelon2 жыл бұрын
It seems (well before you destroyed it) to function pretty well. To those of us in gun friendly states it might seem dumb but if you want some kind of AR platform and live in CA......it's an option.
@babyduckmilitia21862 жыл бұрын
Yeah theoretically in CA you could have an AR with normal grips, and normal magazine operation (though still only 10 rounds) if it was bolt action. Pretty dumb solution, really a bandaid, to the problem of government overreach

That sounds like a medieval witch test, where you first try to drown the accused woman and if she survives that, you put her on a pyre
@AdamWest842 жыл бұрын
All joking aside, a version of this with a barrel and forend just long enough to clear the slide action, with a side folding pistol brace, might make a great truck gun in places that are not friendly towards semi- auto ARs. 🤔 Maybe even a 9-10" barrel with a suppressor small enough to fit in the handgaurd, chambered in 300 BLK?
@CoconutMigrating2 жыл бұрын
No semi auto but cool with SBRs?
@robertlinke26662 жыл бұрын
that would make it an sbr, which would be even more difficult to have legally
@AdamWest842 жыл бұрын
No, that would make it a braced pistol, which is still legal (for now). I'm not saying I would run out and buy one, I'm saying it might be a viable option for some people. I think in some countries semi- auto firearms are more difficult to own or sometimes totally banned, whereas manually operated are okay. If those areas don't have barrel length restrictions (which are stupid anyway) it might be an option.
@kira682002 жыл бұрын
there is a version of this gun in 300 BLK actualy
@daltongarrett71172 жыл бұрын
Pump action pistols and or rifles have a purpose beyond skirting nonsensical gun laws, the purpose I see is for further reduction of sound when shooting suppressed. The action isn't activating until you want and some rounds suppressed the action makes more noise than the shot.
@mattking44832 жыл бұрын
There is one added benefit to that rifle.. since there is no gas system, you're not losing velocity down the barrel. Kinda makes it like a bolt action.
@MrCh0o2 жыл бұрын
Probably sufficient to describe it as manually operated
@rslover652 жыл бұрын
There's an insignificant amount of loss for an auto vs a manually operated action. So still it's a lousy AR.

Pump-action is kinda special, and putting manual action on a self-cycling-by-design gun is unusual, but it does have not one, but few utilities: * Firing low-power rounds * Firing subsonics with a supressor (although you'd need dampeners to make it really quiet So as a hunting rifle or a practice rifle, i'd say this gun makes perfect sense!

This gun was made for those people for sure! I've handled one, and the action is really slick! It seemed to be very well-made too. 300BLK would seem ideal for this one.

Matt, the gun lube you use isn't "buttery smooth." It's "buttermilk-y smooth." Get it right! Actually, my wife and I now only refer to ranch dressing as Gun Lube. She grabbed a pizza on the way home last night and then called me to ask if we had any "gun lube." At first I was genuinely confused, but then I just started laughing my ass off. Thanks bro, you do some awesome work and make people's lives better, even if it's just a small dumb joke in the middle of an afternoon.

Absolutely. And legal in countries (Australia) where semi auto centrefire rifles are much more restricted than pump action

Its dumb fkin gun, thats why. Its just cringe abomination made to avoid gun control laws, not something cool at all. Like some kind of cope gun for people with limited access to guns. I would understand that but still you could still buy semi auto AR in gun controlled countries, just lazy fucks usually dont want to work towards getting permit so they buy things like those to cope. If you cant abolish gun laws then at least exploit what you have to get proper guns instead settling on this cringe.
