hi there - i just wanted to write a little bit to let you know about my experience with your song. i think this got recommended to me on my spotify discovery sometime in 2021. i'm 23 - not old, not a kid anymore either, and i think this song perfectly captured my mood at the time - moulting and between phases, living in but also nostalgic for the present. my dad recently passed away. I've had a bit of a fragile relationship with music lately, because of it. i listened to this song and broke down in tears - bc like, fr? i never wanted anything and i never got it. but now i got it? i don't even know what 'it' is. i don't have a more lucid explanation for why your song has moved me so much, but i play it all the time. you may have never intended for it to be taken this way, but i just figured you should know that there's a grieving girl somewhere in the world who's grateful you wrote this song.
