The mud crab!!! The mud crab is the most versatile type of crab. It has its own delicious taste, but it can also absorb and enhanced many ingredients and spices. My personal favourites are: Singapore spicy crab, Padang sauce crab, Hongkong typhoon shelter crab, Black pepper crab and, the best of them all, Kepiting asap. I’m from Phuket in southern Thailand. This dish is a little bit more like a fusion Thai-Chinese dish. Although I didn’t see my mother made it for a long time but she usually prepared all the sauce and cooked it on high heat, she also used nam prik pao instead of gochuchang. You can try it! I think it would gives you more chilli smell and less sweetness to get along with camin powder. But the way you made it is also looking good. Glad to see you making this dish!! //Anyway, that crab meat looks so delicious.

Really glad to see another one of our country’s dish! Traditionally, we would use Nam prik pao instead of Guchujang, and the cooking method would be a bit different. Anyway, it’s well executed here. Now I’m waiting to see if Thai seafood sauce would also feature here. It would complete the holy trinity of Thai seafood dishes on your channel :D
