Thanks for that - I am enjoying your autobiography now. Since I am a mixed-media artist w/ big love for Wallace & Yves (+ I live in Japan!) I trust this book will be purchased immediately

I think you will like this book a lot. It traces Yves's life in Japan.

Just read a oral history with George Herms at the Smithsonian's Archives of American Art and he said, "The only person I've ever seen who did not go through adolescent rebellion was Tosh Berman, Wallace's son."

Interesting comment from George! No adolescent rebelliion in youth, but now, yes!

Just watched Roxy Music performing "In Every Dream Home a Heartache" and feel like that's a band you would have been into.

Thanks Tosh! That was interesting. The book is in French, oui?

Hello Liz! Yes, the book is basically in English, but the letters and notes from Klein are in French. But there is a translation of the letters in the back of the book.

Do you subscribe to the Amoeba channel on here? Think you'd enjoy their "What's in my Bag" vids given how much you love music. They just had one with two guys from the Smashing Pumpkins, one of which gave off strong Tosh Berman in a whig vibes. Maybe a cross between Tosh Berman and Sean Lennon. Anyway, the vids were better when they did them in the record store but still fun to see what albums people pick.

It's odd that you mention this, but I did see this specific episode of "What's in my Bag" this morning. Funny! I would love to do an episode of "What's in my Bag."
