Received my Toshi a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Your attention to the small details really show, and you walked a perfect line balancing the pros and cons of every decision with so many useful and well-executed features. You both also showed amazing emotional intelligence is being able to shift your focus from being all-in on modular design and realizing the drawbacks that would come with continuing that line of thinking. Far to many people can't let go of an idea they fell in love with, but that no longer produces the best result. Excited to see what else you come up with! My suggestions for V2: I think a handle is essential and seems like a low pain, high gain decision. Same for a dedicated pen holder inside where the label currently is. Doesn't seem that these additions would involve lots of compromise or added costs as far as I can imagine.

As someone who buys a lot of bags and tests them out it's nice to see a video showing the insight into how you went about designing and then choosing a manufacturer! Look forward to more of these insightful videos 😄

Glad you enjoyed this! We weren’t sure if people would enjoy this type of content because it gets into the weeds, so thanks for letting us know it resonates with you.

That was cool. Thanks. Love this bag. Really put it through its paces this weekend. At a carnival with two kids.

If possible, could you make a more female-specific video in terms of how the Toshi bag sits on the body and how items fit into it? A lot of the photos or videos I've seen are reviewed by men making it hard for me (someone who's 5'3) to imagine how it would look on me in terms of bulk and such - thank you!

@@cynwme7608 Yes! Will definitely do that. In the meantime, the closest thing we have is probably our product walkthrough where I wear the bag and talk through certain features. - Jia

Hey guys! This is an amazing product and I must really enjoyed your videos. Spot on pitching and explanation! I got the Aer Pro Sling few weeks ago but that bag just didnt connect with me. Am ordering the Toshi bag to support my fellow Asian 😉 Can’t wait to give it a go :) Well done guys!

would be cool if you shared how you found the manufacturers and decided to go with Vietnam vs other countries.
@ReworkGear5 күн бұрын
@@syn3rgyz It’s really just a lot of googling. We did work with manufacturers in China early on for our first product, but ultimately did not think that the ones we found could produce what we wanted in our design, and the import taxes we’d have to pay would be much higher coming from China vs Vietnam. Finding a manufacturer to us though is less about the country and more about the actual team that we get to work with. We happened to find an incredible one that’s located in Vietnam and went with that.

Hi, do you have any plans for a 9L size soon?

@@ckimz Hmm not at the moment, but we’d love to know what you’d like to fit in a 9L?

Awsome journey, can i suggest a grab handle?
@ReworkGear7 күн бұрын
@@hamhar-d2w Yes! Thank you for your suggestion. There are a number of people that suggested this as well, and we are trying to see if people like a handle right at the top or if it’s okay to have it at the top of the back of the sling. Let us know if you have a preference!
@4thawenzСағат бұрын
@@ReworkGear I also would love a handle regardless of where you put it. My prefence is across the back for a cleaner look and room for a more comfortable handle, and while you are working on that panel, please convert the label inside to a dedictated pen holder. Those are the only two changes that take this from a 9 to a perfect 10!
