I just have a thing for Toshibas man. I love my 27AF45. Also have a 32AX60 Cinema Series with the big bubble screen. It's just too dang heavy for me to want to mess with. 27in is the sweet spot imo. Thanks for the great stream 😊

I have a Toshiba 32AX60, and it is the most beautiful consumer CRT I have ever seen... It's unruly to move around at 123lbs though, I agree. My 27AF42 may be the 2nd best I've seen(which thankfully just weighs 92lbs) or alternatively my 480p Hitachi 32UDX10S(113lbs). These 14" Toshibas are fantastic little sets too, weighing only 24lbs lol(have a couple). Great to see Steve work on them :)

Every single one of these televisions that i have seen droop down and have a geometry issue in that lower left hand corner. Easily fixable/adjustable, but odd that its always in the same area. Or are most flat tubes this way?

It’s a CRT shed, not a bunker. That bunker is now the CRT shop.

I have the same tv, i really like it, but it have like a line thing at the middle when the tv is power on, but the line will disappear in a about like a minute or when the tv warms up. That's the thing i didn't really like.

Is that KV36 an XBR?

I really like my 27af46. The downside is no clear way to remove the scan modulation, like the 44 and 45....unless I am mistaken

If there isn’t an option in the service menu, I’d think you could physically disconnect the modulation circuit on the neck board like you can on models like the 20AF43.

You have decided to get rid of that SNES Junior and replace it with a modded Super Famicom.
