Hello ,,, how can i use this device to record from the tv ,,, like record tv shows to vhs and to the disc only for each department use ....like my old panasonic player which has the int port ,, this one does not ... with that one i can record from the tv with either the dvd or the vhs to record tv shown n such .. with this device is there any other cords needed so i can do what i was doing with my panasonic one. much appreciated thanks " ,,,,, this one i have to use hdmi or AV which does not pick up the shows on tv '

Hi, when I hit the dubbing button, the recording indicators flash but then stops (a circle with a slash shows on my monitor). Any ideas?

Thank you. This is very useful. Can you use Verbatim DVD+R DL discs. I've tried DVD-R and the player just keeps giving me an error message saying that the disk can't playback?! Many thanks.

Help When I go to setup on the remote the only highlight areas are General Setting and Timer programing. The Title List and the DVD Menu does light highlight.
