Although there are no statistics, Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric are particularly popular among well-informed person, and I myself consider these two companies to be of particularly good quality.

Europe is the same when it comes to aircons. Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu as a cheaper option that's still good. Those three are more-or-less available throughout the region I live in (Balkans). Then you've got the lesser producers available: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Mitsubishi quality but less features), Toshiba (really good on the heating), Panasonic (solid but they've had some issues with the Ethereal series, poor temperature control electronics), Hitachi (cheaper option like Fujitsu). Below that come Samsung and LG and then the Chinese brands such as Midea, Gree, Hisense, AUX, Haier. Most people buy the Chinese units because they're the cheapest but those that can afford it always swear by Japan and Japanese quality.

東芝のシールは何で剥がれているのですか？こうすけさんが好きなエアコンメーカーは何ですか？自分は三菱電機と日立です。子供部屋のエアコンは三菱電機のMSZ-GV4022Sです。ゲーム部屋は日立のRAS-AJ56M2です。日立はカラット除湿の再熱除湿だから好きです。再熱除湿がなければ、梅雨のジメジメを解消できません。こうすけさんもカラット除湿は好きですか？

最近の東芝エアコン室外機のロゴシール、日に当たるとすぐに退色してしまうので、9:24にちらっと映っていますが、剥がして室内機に貼っています笑 自分は特に推しメーカーは無いですが、ダイキン、三菱電機は特に品質が良いと思ってます。 カラッと除湿は未体験なのでぜひ使ってみたいところです。。。
