Literally, an entire super break team is fully F2P. Gallagher you can get from Four Star Selector, Harmony MC you can get from Penacony story and from that event banner thing, Xueyi you can get by beating Apoc Shadow’s first two phases, and then Asta buffs attack and speed which is good.

@@angkaiyang8598 i think you’re nuts, its xueyi without harmony MC thats horrible. I LITERALLY beat MOC 12 with that full F2P team of Xueyi, HarMC, Asta, and Gallagher. With mid relics too since i haven’t been playing that long and im fully F2P. You’re literally just on whale-shit rn, I know cause it’s only the whales that think like this where some character is “only viable” with some other premium character. Xueyi is REALLY good with RM. so good that if you use her with RM, she feels bad when you go back to using her without. But if you never had RM, you will know that Xueyi is actually really good in her own right(with harmony MC, but that works for any break character even Gallagher is pretty useless without him/her). I get it, you spent money on the game and you have RM now and you think that all these characters are unusable without her, but if you didn’t spend the money you would know how to actually adapt to not having the premium characters and you would know that its just a matter of RM making ANY character super good, not a matter of that character being unviable without her. TL;DR, only whales think like that, RM just makes her better she is plenty useable without her i know from experience.

I hope Devs make support that fit Xueyi playstyle . She actually doesn't care about break effect delay that much . She want to reduce enemies bar toughness multiple time through follow up ATK & ultimate . That her source damages

If mhy would release another harmony mc type character that buffs break, I think an idea is instead of superbreak, the character will regenerate enemy toughness up to 25% after weakness break similar to that one combat event in 1.1. Xueyi would be able to abuse this mechanic for her Fua

take note that xueyi is incredibly hard to build since you want crit,atk and break effect to maximize her potential. so its no surprise she's not that popular to use although i like her playstyle before firefly's release

Xueyi have synergy & anti synergy with Ruan Mei . She prevent Xueyi follow up ATK most of time thanks to her break delay . We need 2nd Ruan Mei that fit with her playstyle .

Ik someone already said this but if you run HMC and Ruan Mei together on watchmaker with her + either, Talia, the Misha lightcone or both this becomes a non issue as with all buffs up you should already be meeting her break effect requirements considering the break effect she gets from traces too so yoi can just focud on attack and crit after that, with Misha's lightcone + Talia you could even use an attack rope instead of a break effect rope to make up for her atrack stat being lower (or just run Aeon on her)

Firefly is an absolutely insane DPS, but I don't think people are aware enough of just how crippling her weaknesses will be in the future. As of now she stomps basically all content in the game, and that will basically remain true. However the moment Mihoyo decides they want Firefly and by extension all break-centric characters to fall out of meta all they need to do is add enemies that make break immune states such as the ones that the soda monkey, sam, yanqing, and bronya have more common. That will kill firefly instantly. This weakness wasn't so bad in her v1 state in beta, where her multipliers were 2x what they are now and instead of innate super break daamge she had 40% def ignore, and had the highest base atk in the game. But the changes they made going into public completely killed her viability outside of break (not that she was that viable outside of break teams in the first place. She is a very easily killable character and not a smart investment imo. Don't even get me started on how her premier sustain is an abundance character with no DR or damage mitigation and she has some of the worst stats for survivability in the game while also being destruction and thus having higher aggro. Genuinely, she's a godlike DPS though just the most niche and restrictive one in the game.

You could say the same for Acheron, they could add debuff immune enemies. Or enemies with strong shields. Every single character can be shut down whenever Hoyo wants.

while yes she does seem less future proof, but I don’t think it’s that bad, bosses that have weakness lock wants u to simply do their mechanics first, there are no bosses in the game that firefly can not do as of yet. So long a boss has a window for breaking, doesn’t matter how long, firefly can still put in works. I don’t think they’ll ever add a boss that weakness lock themselves forever with 0 ways to break as that would be…… very bad game design. imo she’s worth at least a copy coz she being a rainbow dps is still very compelling.

Tbf, In break teams you don't necessarily need to worry too much about getting hit since the enemies will be broken. The entire concept of break seems to just be: Kill the enemies before they can recover and kill you, which fits perfectly into Firefly's lore LMAO

Im not sure about what to do with her. I have a super strong Acheron E2 team with Sparkle and Fu Xuan E1, so Im really interested in Jiaoqiu, I do have the full DOT team with Ruan Mei E1, so I dont want to limit my Ruan Mei to that team. I feel that Jiaoqiu helps me on both teams. I have 171 tickets, but I Im worried about not having any break effect dps. I feel like Feixiao or some of those new characters will be break effect oriented, so that keeps me relaxed.

Don't buy into the BE meta. The second hoyo decides that enemies with break immune states like monke, yanqing, bronya, gatekeeper, and sam become more common Firefly dies instantly. She is amazing but very easy for Mihoyo to decide her time is up and kill her on sight, just like Venti over in Genshin. (Firefly haver and proud, but people are not aware enough of just how temporary the break meta is)
