Thanks for reply pal appreciate it I think I’m gonna go with the tolson . One last question does the hopper doors automatically close or do you close them with remote . Hope you have a few big ones when you go pal .cheers

No problem at all mate any time. I don't think you will be disappointed with your decision IMO. In regards to the doors they only open and close from the controller.

No worries mate, anytime. Can't say I have ever heard of them to be honest with you. I had a good scout around when I was looking and never noticed them either. Get yourself in some forums and that looking for honest opinions, I wouldn't listen to the "professionals" who are being paid to sell them as their reviews are driven by money!!

cheers for the vid mate, how responsive is the boat, is the controller progressive speed controlled,im asking because i used to have a waverunner atom and you only had to touch the throttle slightly and it just wanted to go full speed. so was hoping the toslon is more controllable , maybe like a microcat which i have now.Hope this makes sense ,great vid

Thanks mate, glad you liked it. Yes the boat is very responsive although it has one strange niggle. When the boat has sat still for a few seconds it has to go forwards before it goes left or right (does that make sense) so a little flick forwards on the controller and you're away. The forwards and backwards are not spring loaded on the controller and this is progressive rather than on or off. But you have to centralise the joystick to stop the boat. Hope this helps

@@SimonsCarpFishing Thanks for speedy reply mate, seems strange you having to nudge forward before it will turn when left for a few seconds. does it work if you nudge it backwards instead of forwards? in case your tight to far margin and cant go forward anymore ,because the lake i fish in france you literally take the boat so that it touches overhanging bushes so not a lot of room to nudge it forward. cheers pal

im trying to decide which boat to get next ,i have microcat at moment but to big really, was thinking either X boat or RT4, possibly carptechnics SB3 hard to decide really but i like the idea of hydraulic hoppers.

@@carperman2533 When I say you need to nudge the boat forwards, it is literally just a very small touch on the joystick to which the boat hardly moves and this enables left/right movement again. I am not to sure on the backwards question as I don't believe I have tried although I'm fishing this weekend so will come back to you with an answer on that one. In regards to what boat to purchase, I feel it really is a personal choice, for me the amount of returned RT4 boats kind of ruled them out tbh. Yes they repair them FOC but I want a boat that is reliable... Hope this helps.

Had a go on one at orchard place was amazing tbh but I don't do boats cos I can cast anywhere on my lakes. But if a bait boat is your thing this one is the shizzle!! So smooth it's a joke.

I never really felt the need for one but with a French trip every year and so many hiding holes on my syndicate I thought, why not. Wicked bit of kit but it is cheating to a degree.

On the boat keep the aerial standing straight up. If it's laying down you could lose range. Nice boat though

To be honest I am only using it at short range and the antenna is only for the fish finder not the boat controls. But thanks for the advice mate, cheers for watching 👍

Hello mate, I did take a solar panel with me which I put on a couple of times for probably about 2 hours. I would say this made little to no difference, the batteries last ages. Currently done two 48hour sessions on the same charge, with a two week gap in between and no charge lost. You can get a solar panel for like £75, substantially cheaper than spare batteries which you'll hardly ever use.

Sorry for the delayed response. Hard to say really I wouldn't say it is the fastest boat but seems to cope pretty well, like it is fast enough. Hope this helps.

No good on big lakes, low pressures in 30-40mph winds. (Ideal conditions) Buy a deliverance
