The Blue Jays shoot themselves in the foot countless times in this game and they come up juuuuussssttttt short losing 5-4 to the Milwaukee Brewers!!! Now they have to come back home to take on the Cleveland Guardians on Friday night with Kevin Gausman getting the ball!!

The Jays were still enjoyable to watch back then. A cpl of those 2000 teams would of made the post season if they had today's current format. If Carpenter gave up 4 runs early, they still could bat their way back. It's basically game over now if the Jays are down by 2 at any point of the game. Definitely has to be the worst offensive Jays team in the history of the organization. 🤢🤮

Completely lost it today! I was screaming at them through the tv. Kirk CANNOT THROW if his life or game depended on it. Gave myself a headache. I even told myself no way they score 4 to tie nvm 5 to win… ofc they get just the 3. Had me excited like no way they’re about to do this. Me being the fan I am I fell for it knowing damn well this team isn’t capable of getting the job done😑

The jays get a win against a AAA pitcher just called up fans are talking their praises , then the next night thet face a regular MLB starter and they lose again. Back to normal , just stop getting excited over a win over a crap bottom team or a minor league pitching . This team is not good !!! People get excited because Vlad comes off the bench in the clutch to tie or win the game and ……. Nothing as usual He has always always stunk when it counts / bases loaded / RISP his whole career .

Yeah, Mayza used to be one of the best relievers for the Jays, and was their best guy in the second half of 2021. This year he's giving up a ton of fly balls and he's just not effective. He's unable to induce ground balls with his sinker anymore.
