The story from the start doesn’t sit with me. No parent with a 2 year old walks out of a campsite without making sure whoever is left at the campsite to keep an eye on the baby knows full well and good that that person knows and has their eyes and hands on the baby. Not only that, what is up with the grandfather saying that he turned his head and the baby was gone, then he says that he thought the baby was with the parents? That makes no sense. The parents and the grandfather know what happened to the boy. They know!

Things like this can happen in a blink of an eye. When my daughter was 2 we went on a camping trip. I thought that I was going to be smart and put a little pad lock on the zipper of our tent. I put the key on a key strap around my neck. My daughter took the key off in the middle of the night. And got out of the tent. I woke up at 2 in the morning. Was wrapping my arms around her. And she was gone. I was screaming for dear life. I had every one in the camping site looking for her. I realized that her fishing pole was gone. So I took off behind my husband to tell him her fishing pole was gone. I caught up with him and telling him. We looked over. She was fishing off a 40-50 ft. Cliff. My husband told me to be real quiet he was going to sneak up behind her and grab her. He was afraid if we said anything she would fall off that cliff. I was scared to death. Thank God he was watching over her that night. We never again went camping together when she was a child. That one time had done me in.

Why not wait until you are heading home to get gas? I understand wanting a break from your remote retreat, but right after breakfast when you just got in late the night before? @@rdespura1527 Not necessarily. Deorr was wearing those boots the whole time & they never came off. If the cat was big enough it could have carried him. Deorr was small even for a 2 yr. old but then again, a person could have gotten him. I do feel the parents & grandpa were Both a bit neglectful in that the parents didn't walk him back to grandpa & made sure grandpa was up to watching him & grandpa should not have fallen asleep til Deorr was back with his parents. Accidents happen, that's why they are called accidents. I do believe Deorr will be found, just not alive.

Is this a NEW video about DeOrr? I hope there’s NEW news. I’ve followed his case since the beginning and I didn’t believe his parents stories. Mom: “He WAS wearing…”. All the “evidence” consists of unsubstantiated stories from parents & grandpa. They change “facts” all the time.

That 911 call with the mother raised red flags with her lack of emotion. Everyone reacts differently. I couldn't help thinking back when my son was 3. We're at the mall i turned away for a moment and he was gone. I felt as if i could not breathe my head was spinning. All of a sudden that mall seemed as large as the intire universe. I don't think my heart beat until a store clerk found him. It was the worst and longest 5 minutes of my life.

@amandajohnson8116 if there was a short ridge at the stream across from the camp site, couldn't someone have grabbed him and taken him across the stream? Creeks twist and wind. The parents may not have been able to see him. Wish we had a picture of the creek.

@ Deorr is the victim in this case. The last I heard, LE was looking at the parents as suspects in a homicide investigation. I’ll save my sympathy for this little toddler that most likely didn’t even get to see his 3rd birthday. Because at the very least, they couldn’t keep him safe from whatever happened to him. The most basic responsibility of a parent.

I’ve always felt that Dior was never there at that camp ground. He was in diapers and no one has mentioned checking the trash bin for a soiled diaper to at least confirm he was there. He must have had a few diaper changes the hours he was supposedly there. The mom has a weird vibe about her. It’s time this innocent child has his justice ❤❤

There was one diaper in a grocery bag tied to a tree that Vernal put up from the so called night they got there and grandma threw it away on Saturday during the search and it was never recovered

They have told different stories tho. When they first came out they said they TOOK Deorr to SEE the fish. Halfway there he changed his mind so they sent him back to grandpa and he never walked back to grandpa. But NOW they say they left Deorr with grandpa then came back to get him to show the fish. Mom never showed enough emotion on the phone. Dad smiles and chuckles every time he is on the news. I feel Mom and Dad killed him and had grandpa come so they could blame him and poor grandpa is so distraught that he believes he had Deorr with him

This was years ago, I remember when it happened. Seems like the story has changed since them. The parents had went to get feminine products.and snacks, taking Deore with them. Though, no one saw him with them. When they got back, mom and dad went fishing (I believe grandpa's friend went as well), leaving the baby with grandpa. Mom.and dad decided to get the baby to show him the fish or something, when they got back, baby was gone. Grandpa had said he looked away for a second, baby gone, figured parents got him or he went to them. That was the original story. He's never been found, the parents were engaged, have since broke up,the last I checked on updates. As no one saw the baby at the little store/gas station, I think something happened on the way, or, before. The trip to the store a ruse to get rid of the baby's remains. I had hoped one of the parents, grandpa, or grandpa's friend would finally talk. If I remember correctly, the grandpa had cancer or another illness and died not long after they came back from the camping trip.
