This is a 30 minute yoga workout class aimed to strengthen and to stretch your body. This is a perfect routine to start the day, or to practice at anytime in the day.
You'll learn to properly align your body to make sure you using the right muscles in the poses to prevent injury or strain.
This is a workout you can do to start your day right with a combination of exercises to help pump blood though the body, to move fluid, and warm up the joints along with strengthening exercises for the core, arms, hips, glutes, legs, chest, upper back, and shoulders.
Focus your mind, restore health and balance to your body and spirit.

Loved the note about how we hold negative energy in our bodies and how we are releasing it when doing yoga - I needed that! I also really like coming back to prayer hands in different positions, that in itself feels calming and center-ing (is that a word?) Beautiful morning setting for yoga - i think I heard a rooster in the background - so nice. Thank you Michelle and Tim 🙂

Hey Tim love all your vids! Just wanted to mention that it would be good if you paused and gave time for a vinyasa when you give it as an option eg at 19:25 otherwise it results in a bit of a scramble. Cheers for a great yoga session though :)

Great as always. I liked the reflection at the end. I also like to set intentions at the begining so that would be a great thing to include. In terms of requests, I struggle with shoulder mobility and hamstring tightness so would love a video to address those ongoing issues caused my years of sport (still ongoing). Namaste Tim.

just returning after time off due to L-spine stenosis and severe degenerative pain. This flow was a wonderful way to get back in touch with the gentle movements I had missed. Thank you. I appreciate your gentle reminders on spine health and respecting your body as it strengthens/heals over time. One question regarding a "neutral pelvis". I understand what Pilates refers to when using this term, and I may have misunderstood your directions, but I think it was to keep a flat back? Isn't that counter to the neutral pelvis position? Anyway, I love this and all your videos. Thank you and Namaste.

Welcome back, sorry to hear about your condition. Neutral pelvis and flat back are two different things. When were working on finding a neutral pelvis on the back I will never say felt back. Same with during core work. Your PT might have you start to do some core work with the lumber spine pressed into the floor however, but this isn't for all core work or all people, and the pelvis will tuck slightly when you do this. When your doing ardha uttanasana I will say "flat back" but thats referring to elongating the spine and working towards making it look flat instead of rounded. Does that make sense?

Is there an alternative you would recommend to the lunges done toward the beginning of this practice? My right knee isn't too happy with being on the ground while my left leg is forward, and I end up not getting any sort of hip flexor stretch due to my body tensing up trying to reduce the pressure on that knee (I get a really nice stretch in the opposite position, with the left knee back and the right leg forward, though!)

Hi Tim, I have developed a click in my shoulder joint and am wondering if I am doing something wrong. It doesn't happen all the time, just once in a while when I move my arm a certain way. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

The river water is warm enough now so I have been swimming every day and that seems to have helped my arm. It only clicks very rarely now, and there isn't one specific movement that makes it do that. Sometimes it is when I raise my arm, sometimes when I move it from front to back. I will keep an eye out for your video. Thanks very much Tim for responding to my question. I really appreciate it and am also very grateful for all the videos that you post. Wishing your life to have much success, peace, health and love.
