Funny you should mention that because that mechanic is in the game as of now! Go check it out, its honestly shaping up to be a very promising game. Combat is very addicting and the ability to customise your army how you want is just * chefs kiss * 👌

slightly weird choice by the devs to use the comet (a relatively obscure british tank from the end of the second world war) alongside much newer vehicles but it is definitely cool

Not really, they may be a bit pricier in the market when trading with other nations, but if you research them and build them they are mostly on par. I find maps to be a bit small for large armor clashes so i mostly use them to support infantry, they work just fine for that no matter what type you use, but variety is neat, southern "monarchies" even have their own tech tree mix of technicals, french amx 30, american m60 and russian t55 and t62. These guys have somewhat weaker armor compared to democracies and communisms of the north.

This game looks very promising, there is just one question: can you steal military gear from enemy factions? I always loved to steal enemy tanks, vehicles and weapons for personal use. And if not, I really hope robbing enemy gear will be a thing in the future!

Yes you can recover vehicles you didn't destroy if you win the battle before killing everything with like a hidden moral type system. You can also recover weapons from the battlefield that is at random though of the gear they were using

If there are any enemy vehicles you haven’t destroyed by the time the enemy surrenders/retreats, the battalion that defeated them will get it in their supplies, which you can then bring to cities for further use.

This is what "Democracies" in the game use as vehicles, It reffers to various states that have democracy as form of government in the game. To simulate that different nations will be supported from different world powers based on their political system
