Those 3 girls are a hoot to watch. They sure do love to hang around whenever you are trying to be. Hopefully the other two can come home from Marie's soon. I was so shocked to see how big Charlie had grown. He is a really nice Emu. I'm really glad that no one got hurt.

Quite a few years ago I worked in construction and was working on a house where the owner breed Seeing Eye Golden Retrievers. One day while working she came home from the store or somewhere with an Golden Retriever she said was her neighbors and that she found it lying in the middle of her busy street. Because she knew the owner she called and let them know she had picked up the dog and brought it home with her so they could pick it up after they had gotten off work. She told the dog's owner she had put him in the back yard with a female Golden who was in heat and he was really enjoying himself, jumping around and acting as if he was a young stud. It wasn't but 15 minutes later she had to call the owner and tell her their old dog had died, most likely from over excitement. Was really sad but it seems to me if you are going to die the best way to go is to be with the most beautiful lady in the world. It was difficult for me because I had to help load Grandpa in the owners truck, thinking that someday that could be me. To old to do anything and heart broken.
