Personal opinion: Bridgett and Geoff’s relationship should be bottom tier grey area. They were physically more into each other than emotionally, hence all the kissing and arguing, if he cared about her as much as he says he does he would of acknowledged her frustration with his change of personality and gone back to his real self. Geoff and Bridget are the only OG couple to survive to this day. We enjoyed Gwen and Trent at first, but even without acknowledging the unfair circumstance he faced due to Heather’s sabotage and gained invincibility, TDA spelled the end for the two since Trent kept throwing the challenges. Thanks to Harold, Courtney and Duncan couldn’t have had enough proper time to embrace each other before Courtney’s worst self came to fruition.

Crimson and Ennui are the best couple. They're supportive of each other even in their times of crisis, and they care deeply about each other and each other's wants. How Sam and Dakota work is that Sam loves Dakota unconditionally. And when Dakota transformed due to toxic waste exposure, Sam loved her new look and supported her, giving her a cool name to go with it, "The Dakotaziod." And Dakota realized Sam was there for her.

Ever since i found out that the show networks (CN & Teletoon) pushed the writers to make Duncen and Gwen a couple i have been so upset about it because the relationships they had in the first season were great especially Duncan's and Courtney's and it makes me wonder what would of happened if they didnt push the writers to do so. And its obvious that the writers didn't want or expect to do it with how bad those storylines are in the later seasons. Like how Trent randomly started going insane in season 2 with out any reason to why or how courtney just goes back to her overly controlling ways in season 2 with also no reason as to why. "All the good qualities they had as friends goes out the window." That is a really good way to put one of the big reasons that Duncan and Gwen was a horrible relationship. Like they had a genuine friendship that gave growth to both of their characters, but they stripped all of that away when they slowly made Gwen kind of obsessive about him and it honestly never felt to me like Duncan saw her as more than a trophy and/or a way to stick it to Courtney. I can't really blame Gwen for ignoring his attempts after she dumps him considering it's yet another example of Duncan being a guy who only cares about something after he loses it.

if you look at duncan as the bad boy that he is , you can see he is the most toxic one in the love triangle. he toyed with both girls. the guy didn t choose courtney in season 1 cuz he likes her but cuz he likes "breaking her rules " . then when he saw that she is interested it was time to move to other target. the one that was most fit for the situation was gwen. he came at the exact moment when it was most convenient which is the break up between gwen and trent. he sent mixed signals to gwen . the girl truly believed they are friends but the mixed signals made her think he doesn t like courtney anymore and gradually develop in her feelings in season 3. duncan never told gwen specifically he broke up with courtney or that he s still dating her and he did same thing with courtney ,when courntey came back he told her " my relationships are not your business" . he never made it clear to any of them so he can date whichever is available. courtney in the aftermath when she saw the 2 of them almost kiss she realised she is dealing with an evil womanizer who has no problem toying with girls. trent could see this too but nobody believed him which is ironic he was called crazy for that. but courtney came back in the show to tell him : you thought i am blind and you can get away with this? she had no interest to be tricked by him but she still had feelings for him . the guy continued to push and flirt with her but she hit him obviously still annoyed he has the guts to ask that after proving he s not to trust. but she finally gave up . second time she s fooled. she liked him in season 1 as he is but she made that list especially to make sure he will never cheat on her again. if you look at it she never brought that list up until season 3 when she was with gwen and him in the same room again. then it came season 3 and it was time for duncan to move back to gwen. in all stars courtney ignores duncan and drives him nuts cuz she gave up being tricked by him for the 4th time. "last time i believe this guy" . and gwen came back in the show especially to tell courtney: girl that guy is evil , you were right. both of the ladies gave up on him and finally said NO MORE !

Hey WickedBinge you forgot Dave and Sky. They're a couple because they kiss and have mutual attraction and the should be on the toxic side because they both have problems. Dave is a stalker to Sky and he doesn't care about her interest in gymnastic and was very controlling towards her because he wouldn't take no as an answer and keep trying to win her over. Sky was toxic because she was sending Dave mixed signals about her feelings towards him because she tried to kiss him while she still got a boyfriend back home. In the final when Sky was in the final two she randomly picked Dave to be her helper and she kisses him and said that she and Dave can go on a date after the show is over while Sky is still dating Keith. You also forgot Brody and Macarthur they have mutual attraction because in the surfers ending she said to Brody to call her soon implying that she have feelings towards him.
