Definitely the better ending. Almost everybody gets a happy ending since the cadets got to eliminate the ice dancers and they seemed to care more about the rivalry than even about the winning. Furthermore the Geoff and Brody deserved it more because they always were playing fair and even helping others teams while the cadets despite being generally good were also sometimes scheming with the ice dancers and sabotaging other teams not to mention that they had more plot armor than anybody else and were saved 2 times by a "non elimination" round. Edit. I'm really happy that they created such a wholesome best friend for Geoff. Brody is a great character and it's always fun to watch their bromance. Though now I'm wondering how do Bridgette and Brody get along.

One thing I like about the Surfers ending is how Brody was finally able to gain MacArthur's respect It wraps up all the loose ends; they want us to think that the Surfers' victory is the canon ending. Especially compared to the Cadets' ending where they just gave up and didn't try reaching it
