Perfect! This song was written by Jim Steinman, who was one of the great songwriters of the classic rock era. He wrote the entire Meatloaf album Bat out of Hell, and the Air Supply hit Making Love out of Nothing at All. He co-wrote and produced the Bonnie Tyler hit Holding out for a Hero. His songs tended to be longer and have way more words than most pop songs. They were like epic poetry put to music.
