This! You had to be alive while watching 1990's videos on MTV and BET, While hearing it live on the radio stations, while enjoying memories of what was going on at that moment. It still sounds good, but the experiences of living back then can't be described because it was a feeling all together wrapped into 1 back then.

I wish I had been older to experience the dominance of Aaliyah, Total, Brandy & Missy Elliott's earlier heydays in the mid-90s. There was something remotely special & sickly HOT during 1996 with the new waves of R&B/Hip-Hop acts emerging in their own right with hit after hit and producing solid, smokin' fire ass beats along the way. Shame productions don't sound like this anymore, let alone R&B existing in the mainstream world nowadays. Underrated.

I’m 32 going on 33 and i promise i miss the 90s being a kid hearing and seeing all the greats jam . The feeling was different back then - lively. Now it’s more dead n grey

Early 80s 90s music will forver be legendary. I was blessed that i grew up in this era where music had a meaning and vibe to it unlike the trash they play nowadays. Today's music will never defeat 90s hip hop and r&b. If you grew up in this era you are a legend.
