I wish I had been older to experience the dominance of Aaliyah, Total, Brandy & Missy Elliott's earlier heydays in the mid-90s. There was something remotely special & sickly HOT during 1996 with the new waves of R&B/Hip-Hop acts emerging in their own right with hit after hit and producing solid, smokin' fire ass beats along the way. Shame productions don't sound like this anymore, let alone R&B existing in the mainstream world nowadays. Underrated.
