The short-run production function describes the relationship between output and inputs when at least one input is fixed, such as out output varies based on the amount of labor used. We can use this production function to find the total product of labor, the marginal product of labor, and the average product of labor.

AP= TP/L. And if you only know the AP and L, you can reverse that formula and get the TP. I think the TP is usually given in exercises

It is my first video. I was confused on some topics to be clear later but now I want to share with u. I don't understand how the marginal product diminishes before reaching its maximum. Or can we say10 is max mp coz in the calculation there is a decrease, even no increase, and The graph of mp has behavior with initial upward then falls the curve S the conclusion becomes like follow correct me if I am wrong😅 if Tp is increasing and change in Tp may vary as long as the difference between Tp is great the mp also is high till it reaches its maximum and it reaches its maximum at the beginning coz the Tp is productive at the beginning and as long as their productivity depends on the number of labor the change decreases though. Which is the change high at the beginning. and the only thing that MP depends only on a change in Tp.labpur has no direct relation with Mp(it affects Tp so long way it may affect it) Thank u guys just reply I can't wait😊
