Total Solar Eclipse - 2024 & 2017

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Witnessing a solar eclipse is an incredible experience, so hopefully you’ll have a chance to see this one…and if you do, don’t forget your eclipse glasses so you don’t damage your eyes. In the meantime, if you’re wondering what to expect, here’s a short video of the last total solar eclipse that happened back in 2017. I shot this footage along the historic Oregon trail in Baker City Oregon. The eclipse lasted about two minutes, but the video here is sped up a bit.
