Lot of overcast skies in the eclipse path in texas, God led me to granger dam on San Gabriel river, had a perfect open sky during full totality, God bless your family.

Small world. I was looking up Eagle Rock Loop videos for our up coming trip and hike there- Came across your videos with tips and so I went on to your channel to see what other hiking/ water videos you had there in Arkansas...and to my surprises I see this video next...I live in Lindale/ Van area & work in Tyler. That is awesome! Yeah it is a small world! I’m born and raised here in Tyler and honestly it’s a great place to live in this world. Did you make it out to ERL? That’s a great trail…especially for it being relatively close by. Make sure you check out the Buckeye-Caney loop as well. That’s a great option if you don’t have enough time to do ERL. The "star" was the planet Venus. Stinks that your skies were not clearer, but still a cool experience. We lucked out where I was at in Arkansas.

Haha! Yep it dawned on me after I said that…I was bought up in the excitement of it all. And it was definitely hard to film with the clouds but honestly it made it easier for us to see it. The clouds would cover it and it we could see it so much clearer.

And I was highly considering driving up to Arkansas…looks like you guys had some clear skies. I was worried about what the traffic was going to look like so we opted for staying home instead
