Total War Shogun 2 Dominate realm divide

nice. playing Total War Warhammer 2 and I accidentally went to war with the entire map by declaring war on the Empire at turn 128. Watching this to learn some basic tactics for how to win.

@@UncleMerlin that's awesome. Yea I should do more games. Strategy games are my thing forsure. The mechanics are most likely different in Warhammer. Every total war game is the same but different. But I hope what I got here helps ya. 🙏

I had no Idea that you could even make that much from so few provinces, I found that I overextended myself way to early and usually invoke realm divide after a long tedious war and so get attacked while many of my provinces are newly captured and am already pretty spent.

If you click on your clan tab .... There is a bar... When it's full realm divide is triggered. Also ...don't get too much honor for your leader...that will make the bar fill faster. Don't trigger it until your ready. Cap an entire wing left or right of the island so you can have all your troops on the front Line. Try to have at least 4 armies that can advance from all routes...and meet in the middle right before kyoto

How about this? As Shimazu, why not just conquer Kyushu and Shikoku, then build three to four armies and navies to blitz through Kyoto from the nearest port. Ignore West Honshu for now. Then after becoming Shogun, vassalize the surrounding provinces to protect Kyoto while you try to make the rest of the country map green Will it be easier?

@@Byenie0912 it's a good plan. I like it. But I just enjoy capturing everything and having a front line. And upgrading my troops to overkill [gold weapons] And steamrolling. It feels right to me. But that being said. Your plan sounds very good and it would definitely work. 👌
