Total War: Shogun 2- Running Wild (Cav Core)

I saw a comment asking me to do a cavalry core so I thought hey, why not? As I kind of hit on in the video, if he had put his swords up front and kept his spears in reserve to ward off cavalry I could have been screwed! Goes to show you how important identifying your opponent's core is. Just like you need to know your strengths and use them effectively, so should you know what the other guy's core is and seek to neutralize it. Don't be too stuck in your game plan; having a yari wall up front is powerful but given this context he would have been much better off reversing his infantry's positions.

bought the game a week ago, discovered this channel today and just realized it hadnt been active for three years until a week ago. these gameplays really helped out on making me ragequit a bit less on very hard uesugi campaign.

Up for sugestions? How about a quick turtorial on the quick keys, which of the commands are usefull, what do they do and what bindings do you use?

+Drag0nvil I am no Fishy but here is my answer: I pretty much use the standard bindings. r - run f - toggle melee mode for ranged Alt - melee attack order for ranged space - to highlight unit movement The only different thing is that I have the hotkey for Banzai set to my additional mouse button.

do you also use the commands(pretty sure I saw these) to move your units forwards or just do that by using the mouse :p I'm pretty sure that you want to move forward into a charge rather then stand still and take it. Sorry for being such a noob but tahnk you all for the responses.

+LionpawBigCat the great I think you just use them to reset your general's skill tree. I don't remember any other use.

When you skill a veteran unit to lvl4, the seperated unlock section below your basic skills gets unlocked. Those skills costs clan token. That means for example, a lvl 5 matchlock unit, with 2 skills on reload speed and 2 skills on accuracy, can get extended range, which costs 10 clan tokens.

+Quagmire1174 I find that it's mostly low levels doing ranked anymore. Battle list seems to be the way to go to fight more experienced players.
