He was sworn to hold a grudge with the elves, but he also was sworn to back up the heirs of Sigmar, so Thorgrim’s in a bit of a catch 22 situation. Also, it’s nothing but headcanon on my part, but I like to believe that Thorgrim genuinely likes and respects Franz the same way Kurgan Ironbeard respected Sigmar.

Dropped a tear when EVEN wood elves and lizardmen got together and sent a flow of monsters and creatures out of the woods. Both being such isolationists and imo particularly hostile to other factions for rather order aligned factions, it felt like the world was screaming so loud even they put themselves in danger to push back chaos. What I love about this is while Franz is the Emperor he is also just a man with a powerful magic hammer. Franz is actually almost certainly the most politically powerful person in the world (that isn't evil). Thorgrim is very much so focused on Dwarfs and a legendary diplomat (for a Dwarf) because he's willing to acknowledge some grudges aren't realistic, Finubar pretty much peaked before he was king and spends most of his time studying if not travelling, Alarielle is the real power and isn't technically supposed to be so at most she encourages relations with Wood Elves, people barely meet with Cathay.

I keep coming back to this trailer. I can't help it. It's so well made. Karl Franz holds a meeting with leaders of various races proposing an alliance against the Forces of Chaos and other enemies. When the leaders start arguing with each other and the meeting falls apart, the Emperor of Man manages to get their attention and gives a rousing speech to unite them. Of course, the battles shown here are amazing. You really get the feel of how devastating these threats are, especially the Forces of Chaos. I thought it was beautiful to not only see the Forces of Order fighting back, but to see them fighting together to save their world. What other trailer can top this level of awesomeness?

The trailer is truly a love letter to not only Warhammer Fantasy fans but to Total War historical fans like myself who discovered Warhammer or were introduced to it through the Warhammer Total War games. I am now reading Warhammer Fantasy books and watching lore videos and just trying to fathom how amazing this Universe is regarding Warhammer Fantasy. The emotion of this trailer from the subsiding of old grudges to higher need of order and light amid an endless darkness is really emotional. What really hit me aside from the Cavalry charge of Louen and other Bretonian heroes and Knights charging a numberless foe to the back-to-back for Grombrindal and Tyrion, Gotrek and Felix standing against Skarbrand but mostly (For me) seeing those signature Sharp Mountains in the East of Kislev and knowing that Chaos is pouring over into their lands but that the Empire is right there with lines of steam tanks and artillery fighting side by side with their long standing allies to hold back that which would devour the world. Beautiful really.

@@justchrisgaming173 Before patch 2.4, owning Warhammer 1 and Warhammer 2 was a requirement to play the Immortal Empires map in the first place. Now you can play the Immortal Empires map just by owning Warhammer 3. You'll have access to the Warhammer 3 races that you own, as well as the free faction Bretonnia. You'll still need to buy the previous games in order to have access to their corresponding factions, and the same goes for DLC. But where you previously had to own Warhammer 2 in order to purchase the Prophet and the Warlord DLC, or Warhammer 1 in order to buy the King and the Warlord DLC, you're now able to buy that DLC regardless of whether or not you own those previous main games. Furthermore, you'll gain access to all free content tied to every faction where you own at least 1 legendary lord. So, for example, by purchasing the King and the Warlord DLC you'll not only unlock the Dwarf lord Belegar Ironhammer and the Greenskin lord Skarsnik; you'll also unlock three additional lords in the form of Thorek Ironbrow, Grombrindal and Wurrzag. Alternatively, by purchasing the Prophet and the Warlord DLC, you'll unlock Tehenhauin and Ikit Claw, as well as the free lords Tiktaq'to, Gor Rok and Tretch Craventail. DLC and the older games go on sale fairly often, sometimes with quite deep discounts, so I would recommend keeping an eye out. The Fanatical store currently has a 20 % sale on pretty much everything, and many of the Total War: Warhammer youtubers have referral links to that site if you're interested in supporting them.

I got teary eyed about it for sure. And damn, yes, it reminded me of my very first TW: Warhammer 2 game as Repanse where through some odd fluke of luck I ended up throughout the game in a tightly knit alliance with Imrik. I struggled at the beginning quite a lot, not knowing exactly how to deal with Settra's constructs and lost several armies, but then Imrik joined the war and drew enough attention away from me that I was able to bounce back. Later Ultuan was overrun by Dark Elves. So I put with Repanse and her army to the sea to help, only to get attacked by one of the big pirate fleets I thought were neutral. I retreated, the pirates followed... and then next turn Imrik somehow came swooping in, taking on the pirates alongside my army in a double battle! We Repanse and Imrik then landed in Ulthuan side by side and rolled up the continent together. It was so extremely epic! Never again had the AI work so flawlessly together with me and had quite a lot of fun imagining the two and later Tyrion having war councils and organizing the liberation campaign, with Tyrion naturally being baffled about how a human of all people manages to get along so well with Imrik. (I also find it fun that his diplomacy quotes even make him mention that I finds Bretonnians somewhat more sufferable than other humans)

@@tonitapola7811 Nah, I have not seen it happen in the beta version of Immortal Empires that has been before this new patch. Ordertide is just what we call all the factions for order when they ally in the game. Sound way better than the Council Of Light(which is what an alliance of Dwarves, Elves and humans was called in the lore once, back when Franz had barely sat on the throne for a year). This is way after that from the looks of it, since Cathay and Kislev was not part of the Council Of Light

Damn thing brought tears to my eyes, man. Having all the Order Leaders even just, together in the same scene, I didn't even expect dialogue between them yet we do just adds icing to the cake. The different scenes of conflict showing Chaos grow in power as the Order Factions squabble, followed by them being united and fighting back to back against the Darkness, facing evil head on. And that music, man. That music makes me want to rise against the forces of Chaos with them. Chaos Dwarfs teased at the end too? Cherry on top on a wonderful cake. Total War Warhammer may have its flaws but it's an experience and fandom I'm happy to have found myself in.

Gotrek and Felix staring down Skarbrand and the blood thirsters went hard. So same with Lord Mazdamundi staring down Kugath. Wulfrik pulling his sword out of the Terracotta Sentinel and letting out that brutal war cry sent shivers down my spine. Gotrek vs Skarbrand. A slayer and a blood thirster. A warrior looking for a valiant death and one of the greatest evils to rid the world of and one of the most brutal and dangerous monsters in the lands between. A glorious battle to be told. Maybe a fitting end to one who took the slayer oath or yet another great evil to be slain Mazdamundi vs Kugath. The proud, mighty lizardmen vs the bearers of plague embodied. Ironic since they had so much trouble dealing with the skaven of clan Pestilens. A fitting way to end and eradicate all semblance of plague from their homeland once and for all. Wulfrik tearing apart Cathay is so well shown when he is removing his sword from a killing blow of a Terracotta sentinel amongst other things he might’ve slain and letting out a mighty war cry shows how much of a monster slayer he is

This trailer is just amazing! Everything about it is perfect! I've watched it plenty of times already and will keep coming back to it. The tension, the clear divides between races. The emperor! The one person trying to unite all the divided factions against the dark! Goosebumps when he slams the hammer down. The build up for all the battles, finally seeing them standing together was fantastic! I want more like this. I would love a full film set around this alliance fighting for the whole world against the forces of evil!

This is why we play warhammer. This is the culmination of 10 years of hard work. This is what I have been waiting for since Warhammer 1 came out and i was in middle school. Now im in my third year of college and im able to finally experience the epic finally to this great story. One of the beat game trailers period. Wish we got an animation based on Warhammer Fantasy!

A pity that Kurt Helborg and Lugwig Schwartzhelm were never officially added to the game as their presence here would be incredible. But nevertheless this was amazing! Wish we got a story mode that centred on this, have a choice to play as the Order or Chaos alliances, and every mission would be a new battle as you played one or two of the factions and each mission being interconnected with animated cutscenes! Seeing the banter between the faction leaders and/or the champions and heroes of them as they learn and grow. Now that would be epic.
