Totality a Mile High! My 2024 Eclipse Story

Seeing the 2017 eclipse from inside the path of totality was an amazing experience. The next eclipse in 2024 couldn't come soon enough! Since 2017, I have taken up the sport/hobby of paramotors or powered paragliding. I knew that for the 2024 eclipse, I had to see it from the air! Here's the short story of my adventure leading up to the eclipse and how this flight became my most favorite flight ever.

Thanks!! Yeah the cameras especially GoPros don’t do well for this. For me it wasn’t capturing great eclipse footage but rather capturing these memories of this amazing day and trip.

You know, i took my 5 yo to paoli In tonsee totality was incredible. 20 minutes back, east (towards louisville) and cloud cover blocked it. We got tonsee 100% of all the totality and got to take some pictures. It was other worldly. If anybody reads this, take the time to see one in your life. I could not have imagined a more wild thing to do at an eclipse, But then you strapped a lawn mower to your back and flew to a mile high. Mind blown... just incredible, i cannot imagine. God speed sir.
