Projectile Weapons Atlatl The atlatl was a spear thrower, which produced greater force from a greater distance. Only the highest ranks were allowed these weapons as they were in the front lines of the battle. Each warrior carrying the atlatl also carried many tlacochtli, 5.9 foot long spears tipped with obsidian. War Bow and Arrows The tlahhuitolli was a five foot long war bow strung with animal sinew. Warriors carried their arrows, barbed with obsidian, flint or chert and fletched with turkey feathers in a micomitl or quiver. Quivers could hold about 20 arrows. Slings Aztec warriors and hunters carried slings made of maguey cactus fiber. The warriors collected rocks as they marched. They also made clay balls spiked with obsidian and full of obsidian flakes. Even well armored enemies could be wounded by these. Blowguns Blowguns and poisoned darts were more often used in hunting, but Aztec warriors trained in ambush would bring along their tlacalhuazcuahuitl and darts tipped with poisonous tree frog secretions. Melee Weapons Clubs Aztec warriors carried different types of clubs. The macuahuitl club was edged with obsidian blades. While the obsidian shattered easily, it was razor sharp. A macuahuitl could easily decapitate a man. A macuauitzoctli was a long club made of hardwood with a knob on each side. A huitzauhqui was a baseball bat type club, although some of these were studded with obsidian or flint. A cuahuitl was a club shaped like a baton, made of oak. A cuauololli was basically a mace, a club topped with a rock or copper sphere. Tepoztopilli were spears with obsidian points. Itztopilli were axes shaped like a tomahawk with a head of either copper or stone. One edge was sharpened, the other blunt. Tecaptl were daggers with handles seven to nine inches long. They had a double sided blade made of flint. Aztec warriors drew their tecaptl for hand-to-hand combat. Armor Aztec warriors carried round shield made of wood that was either plain or decorated with their military insignia called a chimalli. The higher rank warriors had special chimalli with a mosaic of feathers denoting their society or rank. Basic Aztec armor was quilted cotton of two to three thicknesses. The cotton was soaked in salt brine then hung to dry. The salt crystallized in the material, which gave it the ability to resist obsidian blades and spears. An extra layer of armor, a tunic, was worn by noble Aztec warriors. Warrior societies also wore a helmet made of hardwood, carved to represent their society or different animals like birds or coyotes. Tlahuiztli were special suits awarded to various ranks of the military. Each rank wore different colored and decorated tlahuiztli to make them easily distinguished on the battlefield Each rank had also emblems. Aztecs were aso known for being very artistic and played a game that you had to keep the ball in the air and could only touch it with your head elbows and hips the empire was loose alliance between three cities: Tenochtitlan, Texcoco, and the newest partner, Tlacopan. As such, they were known as the 'Triple Alliance . Aztecs were known for sacrifices, they had a strange way of doing it the victim was tied to the ground by the foot and was given a weapon of feathers attached to to a wodden stake and had the fight a jaguar warrior. Then a priest would pull out the still beating hart. The ziggurats are the pyramids of the aztecs it is 220 meters high two main ziggurats are the sun and the moon. The aztecs took the Spanish conquistadors as guests thinking that a five hundred man army could do nothing to him he was wrong. The Spanish pulled out there swords and held the king captive a riot went out so the Spanish forced him to stop the riot as the said they are my guest the croued threw rocks at him and killed him the Spanish ran off with all their jewls 11 moths later all the aztecs had died to Europe diseases. That was the end of the aztecs.

User suggestions? Allow me to suggest something: Wild West 6-shooter! A guy with a revolver, fires off 6 inaccurate shots up close, that do the damage a ninja star can do, then attempts to bludgeon the enemy to death with the revolver. Has a 30% chance to fire backwards, killing teammates.

ok, time to go more in depth about the flamethrowers eh? their impervious to gas, a bit stronger then a footman. but if a lucky person lands a shot on the tanks on their back, they die instantly and explode in flame that last for atleast 12 seconds, when it fires flames, it lasts 11. Mustard Gas Unit needs a bit of a nerf, like.. a clip of the sort? 4 canisters can be found on his waist, and a pistol, when he throws a canister, he grabs another canister, when he runs out, he grabs the ol' pistol!

Cool! They should totally have Gas Masks, though, so they are immune to their own poison. I'm hoping to see a Landship to do battle with Da Vinci's Tank! And maybe just some guys with Trench Clubs for smashing baddies up close.

In sandbox mode, or even in some of the campaign levels, you should be able to select different strategy types. By this, i mean like "Attack strategy" where your units would rush in a straight line using whatever formations you put them in (giving them all a speed boost), "Defense Strategy", where your units would not move from the position they're put in and would hold a position (this would give an immediate boost to ranged unit range, and potentially last but not least, an "Advanced strategy" setting, which i can try and describe as best as i can. You know how like before plays in football the tv always shows the arrows and stuff marking where each person is going to run to? This would be like that, but you can like middle click any unit and a green arrow will pop up. You can drag this arrow to anywhere you want in the battlefield and when you hit play, the troops selected will move to the areas you told them to. These ideas kind of go along with the idea of forts and sieges that many people have discussed, but they can be cool on their own as well. I hope you can add this into a later version of the game so units in the game won't aimlessly walk into a tree or a spear or things like that. (I forgot to mention this earlier, but the default "no strategy" option would still be a thing with its own benefits. It would be better than the attack sometimes since you aren't just running in a straight line, and it could sometimes be better than defense since you're not just waiting in one spot.)
