I really hate how they remove soundtracks from games. I have a bunch of similar emu boxes, and almost every soundtrack for every ps1 game had been removed. I still have yet to find a company that doesn't do this with their plug and play emulators.

they didn't remove it specially. it is a problem with game dump. many of PS1 dumps from free sites (like cdromance) has a several roms for one disk, like "game_name.rom" and "track1.rom, track2.rom... track33.rom" etc. You need add it in archive, with a special "game_name.txt" file, to show retroarch that all of those 30 rom files = 1 disk. And then retroarch can play this game with all music inside zip-file. But yes, you should do it yourself, because our china comrades are too lazy))

That CPU at 2GHz should be able to do Dreamcast/Naomi 100% speed but if it can't then its a deal breaker to me. Shame as the specs are good on paper, especially 4GB RAM.

My NVIDIA Shield died after 6yrs of emulation service. I'm hesitant to buy another Shield.. (Saving my money?) but I'd like to know if there hasn't been an equivalent and comfortable with emulation since then in 2023. Or maybe a cheaper one in the meantime, on Ali I see a lot of consoles..

Ram, Ram, Ram.....*Sighs* I know I keep saying it, but most of the higher emulators are very RAM dependent. Before someone jumps in and says something about graphics cards...No. The Integrated graphics on raspberries, android boxes etc are more than substantial to handle primitive 3D rendering from the 90s. The emulation just runs out of memory. That's why on a crap home PC with 8gb of ram, you can run Dolphin and Wii U emulation with no problems

KINHANK Amlogic S905X4 the memory card does not run the 256 GB emulators, unfortunately I did not back up the data on the card, the only thing I did was to select "launch the game immediately" in the game settings. After that, I turned on the console and got the "no data" message. where can I download the files to this card again or maybe I just need to make a correction in some file to make everything work.

N64 is really hard do emulate and with not enough power it's impossible. That is why mini pc's becoming more and more interesting now.

I have no idea.. Look into EmuElec Netplay feature. That is the software they use.

Yes, these android / emuelec boxes are fine for that. Edit - Super Console X Max .. for $60 is even fine for that. Don't need to waste $99 for this one.

They will run great. They will also run great on a basic S905x or w chip, so no need to overspend if those are the systems you want. I started out buying cheap Amlogic S905 android boxes and putting EmuElec on them myself, so even the original Super Console Xs should run GBA and Sega CD very well.

In your case in the normal spectrum of your channel but so many more channels try to get into the click money also. But they stay to expensive for what people are getting.

I just made a portable HDD 256gb with all the best games I want to play and can run off any computer, and doesn't require to boot up from the hard drive....the only thing that was somewhat difficult was getting the bios files.....

In the end S905 chipset comes with many different varients. This new S905x4 is almost if it's not the same with the specs like the S905x3. The one you have is fine and plays most game sup to ps1 maybe some Dreamcast. In general they all suffer from the same emulator problems.
