If I Stay did not need a second book. A fine short story afterwards would have been just fine, but the second book really did not bring anything to the story, in my own opinion.

I agree, in fact i haven't even read the second part, the first one just was a wonderful short story that had its end and it was all and I was so satisfied by that honestly, but then i found out there was a second book and i was like why tho??? It felt like a marketing strategy. I haven't read it and I never will.

I think the Divergent trilogy should've stopped at book 1. Also Allegiant should've been in just 1 POV, in my opinion. The 2 POV thing was so unnecessary!

If you want Cath and Levi closer read Landline, Rainbow Rowell gives them a cameo towards the end, it gives pretty great details. Also its just a good book.

I totally agree with you about Eleanor & Park -- I would love a sequel! As for wanting to do what happens in the future with the characters in Fangirl, if you've read Landline, Cath and Levi make an appearance towards the end. They're not named explicitly, but Rainbow Rowell did confirm that they appeared!

Rainbow Rowell tends to end books pretty abruptly and I always want more! LOL, with your pick on the character you want to end with someone else. I shipped the same couple as you but I have come to accept the new couple in QoS. I was so confused when picking up The 5th Wave too! Totally agree with you on the Lux series' cover.

I love Rainbow Rowell's open endings. I found her books during rough patch in my life and I liked that she was true to how things really end, because we never really know, and there never really is any closure.

I bought the german versions of the lux series because the covers are just so much prettier (I mean just look at them!) even though I liked reading them more in english. It's great to be able to read multiple languages so you can choose the prettier covers when you buy a good book😊

The duology I wish would have stayed 1 book would be If I Stay by Gayle Forman. Maybe it's the fact that I really did not like Adam even in the first book, but then for the second to be in his POV it was just grinding my nerves. I mean, the bits with him and Mia were nice and it was great to see how Mia was doing, but I couldn't give a shit about Adam. Sorry.

The lunar chronicles have nice covers, and since you've been gone by Morgan matson the cover is BEAUTIFUL , and if you take off the dusk jacket the back of it has pretty illustrations.

Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher should've been combined into one instead of three separate parts. Also, The Assassin's Curse and The Pirate's Wish by Cassandra Rose Clarke. They were originally intended to be one book, but the publishers separated it into two unnecessarily.
