The best performance was the win against Alabama back at Michigan in the final bowl/ball game of his college career that possibly took “just enough” doubt out of the minds of those who questioned this man’s desire and abilities to compete at the highest level. Many of us Michigan fans questioned why he did not get a higher draft pick than 199. The rest is just history, but with football being a massively complicated team sport, so many people deserve a lot of credit for the success.

It is easily the pass to Troy Brown in the final drive against Carolina in the Super Bowl (38). On the previous play, NE was hit with a penalty that pushed them back. Brady took the snap and rolled to his left (away from his throwing arm) and threw the hardest pass of his career between two defenders and Troy who was able to grasp it away from them. It was the most pressure filled pass of his young career at the time and it remains most vivid in my memory all these years later...
