Totem Bight whales spotted

While on vacation in Alaska in 2024, we saw whales a few times. This was the first time and the closest I ever got to any. I do not know what kind of whales these few were that were swimming just off the coast of Totem Bight State Historic Park near Ketchikan AK.

They are/were Humpback whales. I lived there for a few years. Saw Humpbacks many times.
