I feel like they should make them more independant, like for iron you can increase cry iron chance, or for coal maybe get a chance for a diamond, or having stone get turned into stone brick for you. IDK, just an idea.

Maybe it could be possible to slightly reduce percentages for upgrade effects BUT make them stack exponentially to balance out the exponentially increasing cost, so that later upgrades have a much greater effect per upgrade than early upgrades

Just a suggestion, but I feel like some of the totems like iron could have luck so you can get cry iron easier

When it's a farming totem, the luck increases the chance of getting extra seeds! The totem should have a seed storage area or something.

I wonder what level of net worth is the cut-off for actively using totem upgrades. Maybe like 20-50M value? At that level you most likely have many industrial machines and can quite easily afford new ones, and can still afford diamond weapons and island portals. You could also I guess get some starfruit totems and upgrade them about 10-20 levels on each type. (I'm assuming starfruit totems are best suited for upgrades since their base cost is expensive anyway)

The problem with a lot of totems is lag and despwan that’s the good thing about the upgrade because then you don’t need 5 or 3 on 1 smelter and you can have 1

Yo so I made up a plan pretty much if I can afford it I make an onion farm and upgrade the totems until Im proud with how the farm is going and then as I slowly get more and more melon seeds and totems I eventually replace the farm with melons.
