Even though Colgera is probably the easiest boss in the game, in my opinion, it’s still the best one. No other boss in this game is as cool as this fight.

I agree with you on that because the other bosses take place underground except Mucktorok which takes place in low gravity but Colgera takes place higher in the sky where it is much colder and since Colgera is causing the snowstorm that surround the dungeon the background of the fight looks epic.

Both of those lines are also poem references to the poem 'Hail to the Conqueror Worm.' by Edgar Allen Poe. Which is a poem about the inevitability of death (this is why the worm is 'the conquerer'. If the top of the food chain is that which eats everything, the worm is the top because everything dies and the worms consume them, invariably.) while the 'tragedy of man' is referencing how, tragically, man is doomed to eternally struggle against death and lose, forever. Knowing this reference makes Colgera's line cut DEEPER, he's essentially straight up saying he's invincible and death incarnate and Link's attempt to fight him was tragically doomed from the start.

People always forget Skyward Sword had an OOT style timeline split in which Demise died twice: in one, he was destroyed as the mindless Imprisoned, and never laid his curse. In the other Link struck him down in battle as the Demon King, never became the Imprisoned, and he laid his curse

i edited the original video, and the extension. little behind the scenes here, the original rough mix did not have the extra instance of the chorus playing at the credits, and didn’t notice it until i got to that part of the song while editing the video. i love it a lot, and obviously since its a part of the song, it has to be included. the loop Is a little awkward, i’ll admit, and wouldn’t be as bad if that extra part was cut, but i think it’s good the way it ended up being
