@timothyjohnson5699 Isn't Zelda about the adventure? The stuff that happens between the dungeons, because even in "traditional" Zelda games, I be streaming on my channel; I literally spend so much time just trying to get to the next one and it is definitely a hit or miss experience. Tears of the Kingdom dungeons aren't perfect, but there was an effort, and actually getting to them was fun, along with the stuff that happened in between felt like a true adventure, you know the essence of a Zelda game. You literally can't convince me that Tears of the Kingdom is a "terrible" Zelda game.

@travellsylvester I spent sooooo much time in ocarina of time or other Zelda games just stopping and appreciating the landscapes, the music, the scenery. Stopping to smell the roses ya know? In botw or tears of the kingdom I used the hero of time outfit and caught tons of photos of me doing the exact same thing. Zelda games are about the adventure first and foremost. Let these people experiment with the series so they can see what works and what doesn't.

Would be nice to unlock something in the endgame that lets you do just that. I understand that having those limitations breeds the creativity behind these weird devices that we see, but it'd be really nice to see what the building mechanic can do without them, which I feel that by the time you're pretty much done with the game it wouldn't matter if the game got broken or not

Gravity Rush 2 did this, and it was great. The whole game you have a limited pool of power to manage that only recharges when you're not using your powers. You can grow that pool over the course of the game as well as equip certain powerups that augment how it or your abilities work somewhat. Once you beat the game, you unlock a powerup that reduces that power usage to zero, meaning you can fly around, or walk on the sides of buildings, etc. for as long as you want. It's honestly a great feature because at that point you'll probably have exhausted almost all the upgrades in game and have completed the bulk of the content, and now you can free roam and have fun gravity walking, flying, and freefalling through the world as much as you want.

An astromech droid unit was part of the original idea. I did however reach the part limit and refused to sacrifice a single piece from the nose cone to the four Taim & Bak KX9's. Besides, Luke took out the Death Star without Artoo.
