Insieme is one of the more overlooked winners of the contest, but it's definitely one of the strongest. It's filled with conviction and optimism, and it makes you want to believe and sing along. While it fits neatly into the zeitgeist of 1990 (and might even be seen as pandering!), it's still an important song today, in terms of what the future could hold. Si è vero negli anni 80 e 90 veniva trasmesso in differita a partire da mezzanotte e veniva trasmessa da rai 2, a quei tempi era in mano ai socialisti ed erano gli unici europeisti, in quegli anni era meglio essere italiani eravamo ricchissimi e avevamo tanti divertimenti, l'Europa non era per niente considerata dagli italiani. Poi siccome la rai non voleva offuscare Sanremo boicottava in tutti i modi l'eurofestival. Noi amanti dell'eurofestival tutti i maggi andavamo a comprare tv sorrisi e canzoni che pubblicavano la data e tramite loro conoscevamo anche i nostri rappresentanti, tv sorrisi sempre dedicava due pagine al nostro rappresentante, pero' credo che nel 1990 non scrisse l'articolo su Toto Cotugno. @@elisabettabasili8258

Concordo sulla canzone, ma non sull'Europa, che resta un importante traguardo geopolitico per il futuro. Le istituzioni europee cambieranno solo grazie all'impegno dei cittadini, di cui sono non meno che il riflesso. Anche l'informazione, in questo ha un ruolo. Oggi, i quotidiani nazionali dei paesi membri assegnano in genere uno spazio modesto alle decisioni prese dal parlamento europeo, in confronto all'eccessivo risalto dato alla cronaca nazionale. Il risultato è che ogni cinque anni i cittadini sono chiamati a dare un giudizio su parlamentari di cui molto di rado conoscono l'operato.

Думаю що Альбано і Роміна Пауер, Андріано Челентано, Пупо, і гурт Річі і Повері будуть співати його пісні так як вони співали його пісні при його житті тут на землі коли він жив. Сумно що його немає. Таке життя. Ніхто не вічний. 80 років це вже не мало і ще з важкою хворобою рак прожити більше 10 років це вже чудо. Але попри важку хворобу, він далі жив і продовжував співати і потішати людей добрим словом. І вірю що у небесному царстві буде теж співати і славити Бога. Його пісні це найбільший скарб який буде мати продовження через нові покоління італійської естради. І його пісні велика данина для різних народів які його слухали. Поки живе творчість і доти живе пам'ять. Хай так воно буде. Амінь.
