If you want more of Toto's greatness then you should definitely check out two awesome songs from their first album: "I'll supply the love" and "Georgy Porgy". When it comes to the live version of "Africa" there's an awesome performance from Poland. It's the one from 35th anniversary, 2013. Their main vocalist (Bobby Kimball) wasn't there, and Steve and Mike Porcaro did pass away by that time, but it's still mesmerizing to hear the crowd exchanging the singing parts in the end of the song - I guarantee you will have chills! :)

Both of you immediately picked up on the shuffle beat, created by Jeff Porcaro. It's actually called "The Rosanna Shuffle" and is one of the more difficult beats to play. Very catchy too! If you are a fan of rock tenors you have to hear Steve Perry (Journey and solo career), Peter Cetera (Chicago and solot career), Kevin Cronin (REO Speedwagon), and of course Freddie Mercury of Queen

Two things always get me about this song - in the quiet breakdown, the bass harmony is delicious. Nobody ever mentions it but it’s the foundation for that whole section. The other thing is that bass riff into the break… it’s perfect. The whole song is a master work tho.

Great song from Gerry Rafferty who was Scottish of course! Love some of his other songs including Get It Right Next Time, Right Down The Line and Stuck in the Middle With You - the latter with his band Stealers Wheel 1973. The latter song was featured in the Tarantino film Reservoir Dogs.

Good evening guys, I’ve scrolled through your playlists in the last year and amazingly you haven’t reacted to the Electric light Orchestra, E.L.O. They were a supergroup throughout the 70s and start of the 80s turning out dozens of hits, as in the name, the band mixes orchestra and prog.rock to create an amazing array of instruments from drums, cellos, violins, pianos, bass, synthesisers, you’ll love them. Well known songs include, mr blue sky, evil woman, sweet talking woman, livin’ thing, the list is endless. Please react to a track called Last train to London, first off and you’ll be hooked. Thank you for your time, peace and love from the UK 🫶🎸🎹❤️

Jeff Porcaro never did drum solos because he felt his job was to provide the timing for the song and drum solos were not part of that. He honestly didn't have to show off with any solos as his timing, rhythm and drum fills were perfect all the time.

Me, and my band, we sworn to always love hard rock and heavy metal - we would love that to our dying days... We were like 15 years old. Then, we were all gathered and the song "Endless" (from the album Isolation) came on the radio... We we stunned, amazed and new-born! 😀From that moment on, our music world opened up and it was fantastic!! This great band was always there, and is still always there... Toto! Listen to the first albums, from ancient times - every song is still good or great! Listen to the newest album, same here. Please check out "Endless", and the album Isolation - m a g i c !

We all know songs like Something, I need You, for you blue, wonderful tonight, Layla and bellbottom blues were all written about Patti Boyd, the most written about woman in music history (George Harrison, and Eric Claptons ex wife) but with Rossanna, In your eyes (Pete Gabriel) and (I am forgetting 2 songs here) written about Rossana Arquette (Pierced wife in Pulp Fiction) making her the 2nd most written about woman in music.
