It is so strange to see Werner booting the ball right towards the goalie in 1 on 1 opportunities, over and over.... I think he needs to stop aiming at goal posts, instead he needs to train his mind NOT to kick it towards the goalie / center.... Son used to have trouble in 1 on 1 chances with goalies the first 2 seasons with the spur, so I think Werner still has chances to improve greatly on that dept, but he really needs to start improving SOOOON. he will be lethal if and when he gets comfortable in 1 on 1 situations with the goalie.

At leipzig, he was so relentless in his 1v1. Then he became worse for some reason after a lot of pressure through social Media after he missed several times more or less unfortunately as well as just goals you could miss. Then he joined Chelsea and got worse once more in his finishes besides his good pace. In the German Nationalmannschaft he messed up greatly too. Now, he seems spot on with his general gameplay, but his finishes are besides this one goal not charakteristic for his skill. It doesn't represents, what he could do. In fact, he demonstrated, he can be a true striker. But the pressure just got to him in my opinion and never left. Or at least, he just lost his complete confidence. @@sang-jinri7491
