72 points would of been enough to finish 4th in every other Premier League season except one in all time history but not this year... Spurs move on and if we retain the services of Gareth Bale and co. I have real hope and excitement for what we can achieve next season (13/14)

This was actually a real good season and perhaps forgotten a bit now, esp as AVB is regarded as a failure. Bale was fantastic and the team played for him. Some great wins on the road and of course Dembele whom we miss more than many.

Great season review video. As a Chelsea fan, I've always had a soft spot for AVB. He doesn't help himself with some of the things he says, but at both our clubs he was given a hard turn. Was sacked by Roman for sticking to a project the man himself drew up, weed out the old guard, rejuvenate the squad and introduce a close passing style of play. Clearly Roman's mistake given what happened later that season, not AVB's. And at Spurs lost his star player and got half a squads worth of players he didn't want, was denied the few he did want, and was sacked before even remotely given ample time to form some sort of cohesive team from that random selection of signings. Not surprised he doesn't want to manage in the Premier League again tbh.
