How are you all sitting there not talking about how Ange has had no support this January? How managers at Tottenham get no support? This is on the higher ups at the club and has been for years.

100% mate with the injuries we have and no signings it's nothing short of scandalous

what support ? spurs have 6 forwards already, and Dragusin was looking for way out few weeks back, how could they bring another defender ? they are spurs not real madrid, it's not like everyone wanted to go there and enjoy being bench player

Yes and no. I mean yes to the fact that they don't look like they're signing anyone. But if your front 3 is Kulu, Richarlison, Son, with Sarr, Betancourt, Porro as well, you shouldn't be losing to Leicester. Ange is playing two 18 yr olds. Is it injuries or does he believe in them... I do not know.

@@SongofIceandTeawhat do you mean with 6 forwards ? Solanke Johnson Werner odobert injured. Van de ven, Romero, Udogie, Spence, and vicario also injured. obviously they needed reinforcements in January and they knew that even at the start of December that they need new players because they barely can fill a starting eleven with senior players. The most obvious thing was to bring new players in but because levy doesn’t care about the club we are now in a relegation battle

@ you shouldn’t be loosing to Leicester but those players who are available play every 3 days for months now, 90 minutes every game without a rest … they looked knackered because they can’t get rotated because Daniel levy didn’t want do buy or loan new players in January and they hang ange and the players out to dry. And if the players can’t get rotated they will get injured more likely and we have more injuries

@@andrewharrison7767 Think before you talk. Yes its a team who should best Leicester everyday. But the problem is that same team has played almost every 3 day since november. The battery has gone in several players.

It was a nonsense point. Borunemouth have played less than 30 games this season, while spurs have played 45, more than 50% more games.

They do not have a clue. There were 2 18year olds playing in the central midfield. Kulu was totally knackered because he has been playing every 3 days in the last 2 months, same with Son and Porro. They are totally exhausted. Bournemouth had injuries and are doing great but they are not playing in the cups. They can rest the remaining players. Crucial difference.
@logirex
@logirex 8 күн бұрын
Midfield was Bentancur (27), Sarr (22) and Bergvall (18 well 19 next week). How is that two 18 year old ? As for minutes that is not the problem except for possibly Kulu they have not actually played all that many minutes. Son was benched early in the season and got less minutes than many other players and Bergvall does not have many minutes since he did not play much before the injuries, Bentancur does not have many minutes, Sarr does not have tons of minute s played etc.

Managers with a rigid view of how the game should be played irrespective of circumstances usually come a cropper. Won't change, can't change is usually applauded until you get into a relegation fight then it becomes self harm. Spurs are close to self harm at the moment.

While Levy is not providing the support, I think Ange should take some blame as well. His rigid high pressure style and lack of rotation is a recipe for injuries.

Thick Spurs fans calling for Ange out. Who would we bring in? and what team could they put out? When Ange has a fully fit squad he has a team that can beat any other on their day, so for me the system isn't the problem. The problem we have is the quality in depth, we haven't got the player quality needed to win anything, get a few injuries and we're finished. Ange has been working with a depleted squad for over two months, and we're going into the final week of the window and still Levy hasn't brought in quality players to help. Quality isn't Levy's priority, when the window opens, for Levy it's lets see if we can get a quality player on loan, if not hopefully on a free transfer, that's why they we're all over Muani, as soon as the obligation to buy was in the deal, Levy was never going ahead with that. Levy now is all over the Gomes deal as we'll sign him in the summer for free. If we can't get either Loan or free then who's on the cheap. With quality comes higher wages and if you take a look at our wage bill, over the last few years it's been going down. That's what turns Daniel Levy on, lowering wages, paying less and free transfers. That's why this club is in the mess it's in. Levy & ENIC OUT.

Have any of these pundits run an analysis on the age / experience of the Bournemouth starters / bench vs the same of Spurs. I saw a bench for Spurs filled with untested (0-4 matches, not starts, in a senior jersey) 17-19 years old players ...Spurs looked exhausted in the first half. Sarr played injured as Madison had a knock... Injuries lead to fatigue of an unrested - unable to rotate side which leads to more injuries and players being fatigued and having poor games... This cycle doesn't get better without new squad players..

Spurs need new ownership. This "boys camp" has got to end. They are in a free fall. Nice stadium, but what is it for? Spent all your $ on a shopping mall stadium and forgot all together...why. ... Maybe relegation will wake them up.........

I don’t think it’s the worst team but the depth is terrible and with injuries what do you expect. For people saying his training is intense. Give it a rest. What do you think Guaridola and Klopps sessions are like? Don’t hear anything about how intense their sessions are; it is probably more intense than ange’s. In this modern day you need a good squad. A strong 11 will only get you so far. Also you could have avoided this whole situation by being in UCL had the money for better investment but chose to lose to Man City just so your biggest rivals don't win the league.

' Bournemouth have 10 injuries ' why does every single pundit seem to peddle this line every time Tottenham's injury crisis is raised. It's not comparable. Bournemouth have been without 2 first 11 players long term ( Tavernier and Adams ). Evanilson is now out long term, but Tavernier is back, as is Adams. So they currently have 1 first 11 player out long term. People point to Sensei, who was indeed a first 11 player last season. But anybody who does not think Huijsen is not a clear upgrade on Sensei has not been paying attention. Not to mention Bournemouth play once a week compared to once every 3 days. It's a completely different situation and it's continued trotting out, unchallenged, is infuriating!

Over the past few weeks, Ange has frequently said, "The guys gave everything they could," even as the team continues to lose. While he likely intends to defend his players, he should tread carefully. As a player, it would be easy to interpret this as a subtle suggestion that this is their ceiling-that they simply aren’t capable of better performance. His words, though well-meaning, risk backfiring and undermining morale.
