I want to see 2-3 of the U21’s being embedded into the first team. They’ve just won their league and deserve to be promoted. It’s NEVER always about spending £60-£80m on players when you have potential in your own ranks anyway. Dare we say City, Liverpool & Arsenal have ALL had elements of success in doing this AND it’ll taste right for Levi’s palate

Totally agree ! how are we meant to attract talented youth when they never get beyond the u21's ? Our academy will just lose all credibility as a place to develop future football stars.

If the reported budget is true - £250m (£150+ sales) there is no excuse to not securing Eze. Having said that, we should not overpay, £50m max. With FFP and the current financial restrictions on other major European leagues, this should be a buyers market.

Sonny is ready but is the whole squad ready is the bigger question ??? If I see a total domination in the midfield from Arsenal due to our sloppy, bad passes and dribbles, we're done for. Our transfer policy is a shambles. We could have got Eze for £15m a few years ago but stalled and now we're happy to pay four times that? Similar with Maddison before he went to Leicester. We seem to have appalling timing with transfers. Still waiting for the deadwood to be cleared (and that centre forward!)...

Absolutely ! we scouted him for ages before palace signed him for £17 mill ( i believe ) same with toney and bowen . Then we invested big money in n,dombele and by the time his contract is up he would have cost the club £100mill ? Our transfer activities have been a complete shambles for years when you look at the big bucks we have paid on duds and then have to get rid of them at a fraction of what we paid. We still have a load to get rid of - n,dombele ( for example ) doesnt want to be at spurs and we dont want him so maybe offer him half his last year wages and let him go ! Sess also ! what chairman would take up the extra year option on a player constantly injured.

Negative. West ham play crwp all season then turn up against us like its a final. We can turn up against them and dent their title hopes whilst also finishing as high up the chart as we can.. unless it all comes down to the last games against city because if it comes to it then I would honestly rather stop arsenal on the final day and drop down a place. Should still be Europa football but if it meant being the ones that stopped them on the last day I'd even take conference league to do so as i do not believe we are ready to compete in the champions league just yet

Davies is actually a better defender than Udogie. The latter is better offensively. Davies did really well for us earlier in the season.
