as a korean-american who lived in a predominantly white neighbourhood, playing football my friends would always jokingly shout "yo park! pass the ball!" or "son, pass the ball!" as a minority player who doesnt have many idols to look up to in professional football who are asian, i can honestly say from the bottom of my heart, watching son play really gave me confidence as a kid and was extremely proud that he represented the skin that i embody. i think i can speak for all asians around the world, not only koreans, that we follow his every move as if he was the embodiment of ourselves. hes like a living fifa career mode player for me. watching this video made me really look at every experience and hindsight because i was there with him for every moment he had, and i probably will until the day he retires. i am extremely proud to be korean and extremely proud of the person he is. humble, clinical, respectful. just an absolute role model. nobody can replace him.

Chelsea and Man City paid for their success and supporters mainly. Tottenham were a much bigger club than Chelsea and Man City before they got the owners they have now. Tottenham have always been big without being majorly successful - that says a lot. Man City and Chelsea are like machines without any spirit while Tottenham has that. City and Chelsea never won anything without paying for it. The majority of their fans are glory supporters. Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United will always be the biggest clubs in England. Being a supporter of either of these clubs is a tradition where Dad passes on tradition of supporting the big four to son or daughter. Mum’s do too. Glory supporting fans who only support teams that win trophies never keep the tradition of the top four because they had no honour in the first place. Tottenham were the first English side to win a European trophy. Celtic of Scotland was actually the first British team to win a European trophy and it was the big one (European cup). Tottenham were the first non league team to win the oldest club competition in Football - the FA cup. Tottenham was the first team to do the double. I’m not lying - Chelsea was as good as Fulham 30 yrs ago and Man City was as good as Norwich. Most of their fan base are easy to defeat in arguments just call them glory supporters they won’t reply back if that is the case.

So many legends have laced their boots for Spurs in my lifetime… so many incredible footballers we’ve been lucky to call Spurs players & watch perform the game in an exquisite fashion… tbh I think this guy is probably my favourite of all of them at this point… not only is he a Ferrari on the pitch giving us sublime moments of joy, he works hard & gives everything also… his natural charisma combined with his humble undertones off the pitch really optimises what the club stands for… get that trophy over the line & we can move into a new era… just an amazing guy to have at our club & the gratitude from the fans that he’s signed a new deal is huge.
