Legit shocked at the patch… can’t believe EA actually did something positive for once. It’s incredible to see how many people relied on their AI to do all their defending. Before the patch, I literally felt like I was getting punished for manually defending and now I’m absolutely COOKING my opponents with ease. Now I actually want to play the game and need that Vini card, like NEED IT

I also got promoted a whole div yesterday. Only problem is that if you now manually use one defender, your other defender run the opposite direction and create a huge gap. The AI now is a little bit too dumb if you ask me but deff better.

yeah absolutely, I won yesterday 8 games in a row with conceding not more than 2 goals while scoring atleast 5 if they didnt rage quit. Finally this no skill ai defending is nerfed. my opponents always had like 70-90 tackles per game, meanwhile I always have around 20 tackles but winning more than my opponent. I lost so many games cause of this 0 skill spamming circle. now they getting exposed and its awesome. thats how it should be, playing against my opponent and not the AI.

I think the safest way to guarantee improving your team is to wait for honorable mentions to be in packs anyway. Easiest weeks save ever for me. Just focus on evos. Only reason I will be opening is if I can recycle into another upgrade pack to keep the plates spinning. Good luck bros

Or you could have not wasted fodder on those silly icon packs and end up doing kdb sbc, Ronaldinho sbc, and Vieira/Stam sbc… which automatically strengthens most ppl’s teams. But instead a lot of you created 3+ icons 🤣 and got Moore Owen and Lineker.

Problem I’m finding with the new patch is I’ve always defending with my CBs and for me, the defending is too much the other way, I’m playing games that go 8-6 or whatever. Just feels like as is always the case, EA flip then switch all the way up, never ‘just right’. As for TOTY prices, I’m certain Hansen will be extinct …… given the large majority of decent saved packs will be untradable
